I am a singer and pianist who has been classically trained in both areas and I play for celebrations of all kinds. Whether you are interested in a performer to be in the spotlight or someone to just play background music, I can serve in either role. Sight-reading music is a strength of mine, so if you need a last minute musician I can handle that easily! I have experience leading worship at several churches and working with various bands. I am a very easy-going person and will do my best to help as much as I can and not add any stress. Please contact me if there is any way I can help!
Annabel is incredibly gifted!!! Highly recommended! She can command a room and is very poised.
Highly recommend. Easy to deal with and was a perfect pianist for my daughters wedding at Anthony Chapel.
Very Good Experience. Annabel was responsive and easy to work with. She listened to my specific song requests and played each one beautifully. She added so much to the party, my Mom’s 90th.
Response from Annabel Hodges:
Thank you for entrusting me with providing music for this celebration and for sharing this review, Stacie! It was an honor to be a part of such a wonderful evening.
Annabel was wonderful! We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday. She was a great piano player and loved to sing show tunes. We provided my mom's music to Annabel on a short notice. Wow! Annabel is an easy going professional that we all enjoyed! Annabel, you are spectacular!
Annabel Stavey played the piano at our business Christmas party. She was absolutely wonderful! Great personality and we will definitely ask her to play for us again.
She was fantastic! Everyone at our event kept complimenting her playing!
Annabel played and sang all of the music for our wedding at The Anthony Chapel in Hot Springs. She played beautifully and has a very lovely voice. We and our guests thoroughly enjoyed her music. Thanks again!
Annabel played and sang at my Mothers 95th birthday party and she was great! I asked for songs from the 30's and 40's and Annabel was so accommodating. She did a great job and everyone enjoyed her. I would definitely ask her back.
She was elegant, charming, and talented. Our customers loved her and I didn’t have any complaints.
Response from Annabel Hodges:
Shelia, thank you so much for your review and for allowing me to be a part of your event!

I have a few different styles that I can provide. Usually, my performance would be great for background music at a restaurant. I have also done many weddings - playing for the ceremony as well as cocktail hour. I love to sing jazz as well as anything popular that people would be familiar with.
My rate is $100 per hour of playing and/or singing with potential additional fees (listed below).
Additional fees (none/not all may apply):
To bring my personal keyboard and/or amplifier = $50
Transportation fee = $40 for over 25 miles, $75 for over 50 miles (from Sherwood, AR)
Outdoor fee = $50
Wedding rehearsal (if asked to attend): $100
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Music became a part of my life early on - starting piano lessons when I was five years old. I grew up playing piano and singing in church and learning how to engage the congregation and lead them in musical worship. I was able to study with several esteemed pianists throughout my lessons as a child up through my college years and was also able to take voice lessons with wonderful teachers. At John Brown University I studied for a degree in Worship Arts (which included much piano and vocal training). I then spent some time teaching privately in the Northwest Arkansas area before working as a showband vocalist and keyboardist for a couple of cruise ship contracts and now live in Sherwood, Arkansas where I am a Music Director and Project Manager.
I am very easy-going as far as setup goes. If it is a solo, I will only need space for myself, my keyboard, maybe a microphone, and my amplifier.
Just to give an idea of different genres, here are some pieces I have used for events in the past:
"Just the Way You Are" -Billy Joel
"Moonlight Sonata" -Beethoven
"The Way You Look Tonight" -Various Artists
"Your Song" -Elton John
"Bridal Chorus" -Wagner
Norah Jones
Adele
Bonnie Raitt
