We are fully self-contained with a small PA that is appropriate for cocktail music for up to 150 people. We'll arrive an hour early, set up and check the sound and we'll be good to go! No hassles, just tasty music! If you want, we can help with announcements or even help with the walk on part of the evening!
We also provide great dinner music so people often hire us for the cocktail hour and dinner, and then a DJ for the dancing and late night fun! When our time is done, we break down quietly and get out of your way, so even if you hire us for just the first half of your event, the switch-over will go smoothly!

FLATOUT JAZZ TRIO is the premier jazz trio for cocktail hours, weddings, office parties and receptions of all kinds in the Denver area. We create just the right backdrop for your event (fun and tasty but not stuffy or pretentious!). Our music is upbeat and our blend of sax, guitar and lite drums will keep the mood going with a cool modern sound. Our music mix includes unique arrangements of jazz standards and jazz versions of tunes that people know from ‘back in the day’ (think James Brown, The Temptations, The Beatles and much more)! We're fun and entertaining and we're always volume appropriate for the venue (large or small, indoor or out). Check us out online for videos, music samples, and more cool information!
FLATOUT JAZZ TRIO is a favorite among musicians and music lovers around town. The guitar players love watching Lou Gott create a solid back beat and play cool improvisations all at the same time. The horn players love watching Casey Barnett as he brings passion and soul to every melody or improvised solo. Everyone else is locked in on drummer Josh Williamson as he lays down the perfect (tasty, light drums) feel for every style. Each member of this band is a great musician, but the best part is how we blend together, creating a modern original sound that you don’t expect from a trio.
Jazz music adds a touch of class to any event, and people are always looking for something new. We play from entry ways to rooftops, from atriums to main stages. We fit in tight spaces, and we are always easy to work with no matter what curve ball comes our way. Event venues and restaurant managers enjoy our responsiveness and professionalism, and your team will appreciate the respect we bring toward everyone involved.
Our set up is simple, so we only require a 20' x 18' space, one electrical circuit load in access and parking.
