Itchy Feet plays a mix of straight-ahead jazz and hard-driving swing. The band is a nonet with six horns, keys, bass and drums. The band members are among Greater Boston's busiest musicians, arrangers, and educators. The band's repertoire spans several jazz eras, incorporating a mix of styles from swing to modern jazz. Original compositions and arrangements are written by band members. We often perform with vocalist Steve Marvin, who adds a whole different sound to the band. Steve's Sinatra-influenced style is enhanced by our custom vocal arrangements!
We also can provide smaller ensembles, to fit your needs. Contact us today for more info!
Saw them at Theory Wine Bar in Andover MA. They play a great mix of swing and Latin-infused jazz, with lots of brass, saxes, and great rhythm. This band will really get a party going for a crowd that’s into jazz!
Response from Itchy Feet:
Thanks for the nice review, Mike - glad you enjoyed the band!
