I play music styles ranging from classical, jazz, christian, and pop/rock PLUS any requests upon booking. I enjoy adding new music to my gig book!
I also perform with Oculus duo, a professional guitar and flute collaboration, to provide a variety of music for any event.
My wife (voice) and I enjoy performing together and our duo is available for ceremonies and other intimate occasions.

Jacob was awesome! He was prompt and courteous. He played avett brothers and other similar musicians as requested. His presence gave our woodsy wedding the light, whimsical feel we were hoping for. Would definitely recommend him for any event.

After nearly 3 years of piano lessons, Jacob began playing guitar at the age of 13 with lessons on the classical guitar from Jimmy Turner in Madison, MS. He attended Mississippi State University to study under Dr. Michael Patilla and received his B.A. in guitar performance. While at MSU, Jacob was a member of State Singers under direction of Dr. Gary Packwood and the MSU guitar ensemble. He received the 'outstanding musician in the strings area' award and graduated in 2015. At Middle Tennessee State University, Jacob held a graduate teaching assistantship under Dr. William Yelverton, performed solo and with the MTSU guitar quartet, and collaborated in chamber music projects. He graduated in Spring 2017 and is currently teaching and performing in Murfreesboro, TN.
