Jeff was great, we totally enjoyed having him part of our event! He got everyone involved! It was a great team-building time, everyone had so much fun!
Can't thank Jeff enough.
Jeff spoke to a group of Fair Grove teachers in August before the start of the school year for a professional development workshop. This interactive workshop was a creative combination of comedy improv and collaborative group activities. Jeff showed us how we can use comedy improve strategies in the classroom to engage our students. I left the workshop encouraged and motivated.
Jeff performed a improv/comedy/motivational show for us at a college event for honors students. Jeff did an excellent job, everyone laughed a lot, and he was able to use his comedy and improv skills to both entertain as well as teach valuable lessons on leadership, learning, and perseverance. Jeff was a great entertainer and I would highly recommend him to others. He can tailor the event to your needs and won't disappoint.
Jeff hosted a workshop on improv and business for about 40 members of our young professional organization. The workshop was funny, interactive, and informative and we received lots of positive feedback from attendees. Would recommend!
Jeff has conducted his workshop, "Creativity in the Workplace" for my Peer Assisted Study Session Leaders at Missouri State University several times, and my staff and I have always been impressed with both the quality of his presentation and the pedagogically-sound advice he offers.
My employees are mainly students studying to be doctors, nurses, or other medical professionals, and are steeped in the sciences. PASS Leaders are hired to assist students enrolled in the most difficult courses in their majors to develop study skills strategies by conducting interactive sessions. Over time, I noted that the leaders, proficient in their fields of study, were at a loss when it came to developing interactive sessions where improvisation and creativity often led to more effective sessions. I hired Jeff Jenkins to encourage the leaders to try something new.
Jeff's training has changed the way we look at the sessions led by PASS Leaders. With increased creativity, we saw the voluntary attendance in the sessions rise. Reviews from the PASS Leaders regarding Jeff's advice have been enthusiastic and positive, with many asking when I'll bring him back. Likewise, the reviews from the students visiting with PASS Leaders have been equally strong, stating that they now enjoy the sessions much more and feel that the creativity exhibited in the sessions has contributed to success in their classes.
We invited Mr. Jenkins to do a skit for a one hour professional development day at our elementary school. We presented him with our theme and mission for the day. He did a wonderful job using comedy for a team building theme. He made us laugh, included many teachers in the skits and did it in a professional way. Everyone enjoyed his performance very much!

Improv can be defined as: you make it up as you go along, you have no idea how it turns out, and you base it off a suggestion you get from people around you. Sound familiar? Kind of like life. Life is improvised. When was the last time your day went exactly like you planned it? Never!! We improvise every day whether we want to or not. Improv is not an exact science 2+2 does not equal funny. Just like in life this good situation plus this positive experience does not always equal best day ever. You'd go crazy trying to chase as a daily goal. Life is curveballs, it's the unknown, it's walking on a tight rope. We all know that the more you're prepared with the right tools the more you're going to be able to hit the curveball, solve the unknown and walk across the tight rope with confidence. With Jeff's hysterical humor and an keen sense of how these skills tie in. Llearning these same tools that professional improvisors have been learning to create comedic situations, you can learn these and discover how to make the improvised scene of your day, your improvised life a stunning success. Jeff used Applied Improvisation to take your instincts into ideas, fear into focus and moments into momentum.
Applied improvisation uses the principles, tools, practices, skills, and mindsets developed in comedy, jazz, and theatre and utilizes them for non-theatrical or performance purposes. Practitioners of applied improvisation facilitate workshops, for individuals or organizations, introducing them to these principles, tools, etc. via solo, paired or group exercises, activities and games. Participants of applied improvisation workshops are able to integrate these principles; tools, etc. into their daily lives. Personal development, team building, creativity, innovation, and well-being are some of their areas that benefit from learning applied improvisation methods.
