Hello! My name is Austin Price. I'm reaching in regards to an email about you needing a DJ. I’ve been a DJ for about 5 years now. I’ve done venues as big as a minor league baseball game to small locations like bars, wedding venues, and parties. Right Price Entertainment provides everything you would need including lights, speakers, tables, etc. We charge $100 an hour plus a $100 deposit fee. For example a 4 hour set would be a total of $500. We can take requests, do karaoke, or other musical games if requested. Let me know if you’d like to go forward with this booking and I can email you a form to fill out.
Thanks,
Austin

We hosted our annual fundraising gala this past Saturday night. Brooklyn came out. It was good during set up, I allowed her choose her position where she wanted to set up her booth and the photo booth. As soon as our event started it went down hill fast. She wasn't paying attention to nor reading the crowd (we had over 400 guests) She wasn't making any announcements to engage our guests, I talked to her several times to ask her to announce the activities to draw people to them, to repeat several times that the buffet was open and where they could find it (it was in a tent through an adjacent walkway) It was so bad that 1 of our sponsors for our Diamond In The Glass Campaign even went over to ask her as well to please make an announcement that they were there and available. Also her mic was squealy with feedback and the back of the room was complaining they couldn't hear anything while the front of the room were holding their ears to the squealing. We eventually found a house mic from the event venue for our auctioneer to use. She was on her phone not paying attention to my cues or watching me (the owner Austin informed me that they load their songs from their phones which could have been a plausible excuse had in not been during an hour of silence which were still not sure why other than again she was not paying attention. We said we had to make a brief announcement which our auctioneer did on the house mic we had procured from the venue because by this point I begged him to take over the announcements so I could focus on our guests. At that point Brooke sat on her chair with her foot on the chair and her phone resting against it scrolling so didn't realize that he was done speaking and the music could resume?? We have had much feedback in the past 2 days from many guests who said everything was amazing however the DJ was pretty bad. As everyone knows a Dj will either make or break your event. I need to say we have had over 100 events over the course of our business and this is the 1st time we ever had a complaint. I feel based on all the feed back and from bearing witness to this train wreck personally, this whole fiasco was definitely detrimental to our fundraising efforts that evening. I contacted Mr Austin at the conclusion of the event and explained everything to which he responded well I hope your guests enjoyed the photo booth?!?! I am happy to provide screenshots of that whole conversation as well if anyone is looking for a good read. I would find it humorous myself had it mot ruined our entire evening. I paid the rest of the invoice because i felt bad for Brooklyn who was sitting in her car next to my vehicle and said Austin wouldn't let her leave unless i sent a check. In hindsight I regret not just driving off and letting our attorney handle the matter. I must add that Brooklyn was very nice as a person. Very quiet. Perhaps they just got in over their head trying to perform at an event above their skill level and capabilities. I wanted to share our experience so no one else has to go through what we did and suffer financial loss.
I booked this company to do my wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! For the price that we paid, we were truly amazed at how professional they were and how nice their equipment was. They even brought a LED DJ Booth and it looked great! I recommend them to everyone I know.
DJ was low key which is what I wanted and she was accommodating for requests regarding lighting and volume. She kept the volume lower which helped us facilitate conversation. Photo booth was a success.
Main complaint was a request for more 60's and 70's music.
