The Magic of the Season through Story
Dressed festively this Mrs. Claus brings the whimsy, warmth and joy of the holidays to your event through interactive reading and song. What I offer is ideal for libraries, schools and community events for children and families. In addition to storytime appearances, I am available for public appearances, home visits, holiday parties, tree lightings, and other special events. Whether sharing holiday cheer, posing for photos, or creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages, I strive to make every visit a magical and heartwarming occasion.

Mrs. Claus Reads loves to interact with kids young and old to bring the Spirit of the Season through Story, Games, and Song. Along with loving to read books out loud she incorporates elements of Literacy building into each visit, through collaborative reading and discussions.
Mrs. Claus has a soft spot for families who are moving during the holidays and has made it her speciality of making those holidays full of Christmas magic, one of her many duties is taking care of letters to Santa so that he knows where to go on Christmas. She loves to be of help to parents during this often stressful time.
Mrs. Claus also has a variety of other interests that she loves to share with young and old and loves to collaborate.
Home Visits: Please have pets on leashes or in a separate area so that my attentions can be on the children. Other specifics will be determined with the client intake form prior to event.
Public Appearances and Readings: Dependent on venue and event size: microphone/ sound system, stage lighting and so forth will be determined with the client intake form prior to event.
The library reading programs of my youth and programing like Reading Rainbow, Magic School Bus and Wishbone have all influenced my love of reading. While my background with school and community theatre has influenced my love of performing. The combination of those interests, embellished with a sparkle of holiday magic is what I do in my own programs.
