Whether a wedding, private party, or your grandmother's 90th birthday, you can impress your guests with live chamber music. We have years of experience organizing wedding music, as well as music for other events including art gallery openings and brunches, dinner events, fundraisers, batmitzvahs, funerals, recordings, and (you guessed it) 90th birthday parties. Choose from a large assortment of music: classical, pop, ragtime, or opera and showtune favorites. Special requests can be arranged, given enough time, for a $15 fee per song. We are happy to work with vocalists and church music directors. Short notice is not a problem!!
So grateful to Rebecca & Karen’s performance at our daughter’s wedding. They played a medley of traditional and contemporary music that was beautifully performed and appreciated by our guests. I have no experience with hiring musicians. For my upcoming garden wedding ceremony we hired Arreaux Strings for the day. What a great choice. The Arreaux String Quarter recently performed at a Memorial Tribute Concert and Celebration of Life Mass for our dear daughter, who passed away in 2020. The music selections for the concert were beautifully performed - many of the attendees remarked they felt such an emotional connection that they were moved to tears. The accompaniment with our Cantor for the religious music during the Mass was absolutely outstanding. Their performance made this a special day for our sweet daughter and I cannot thank them enough!

Arreaux Strings performed in a private outdoor setting and surprised my husband on his birthday. Rebecca was so kind and easy to work with to organize the surprise and the performance of the duo was so wonderful. It brought a lot of joy and beauty to what would have otherwise been a quiet day during this time of social distancing. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a dependable, lovely, and talented ensemble and hope I can hear them again some day.

Arreaux Strings uses only highly qualified professional musicians for your event, ensuring that you get top quality entertainment for your event.
Usually working acoustically, we do not require amplification or microphones. However, we are happy to work with amplification if necessary, and can provide small scale amplification. Sufficient lighting to read by is appreciated, but we can provide our own if necessary. Our only other requirement is chairs, which we do not equip for ourselves.
