Professional ,consistent , high quality playing!
Greg plays both Scottish Highland Bagpipes and the Scottish small pipes should you need something a little more on the quiet end for an intimate indoor event.
The Worcester Bagpiper personalized my husband's tribute, he spoke about my husband Cary being a poet and
Scottish heritage, he selected beautiful songs to play in his honor. Our family and friends were moved by the experience and mentioned how much it added to the day of Celebration for Cary my beloved husband. I am forever grateful.
Greg was fantastic as always!
Greg played his bagpipes at my friends funeral at the RI Veterans Cemetary. He was a great addition to the service.
His spirited rendition of the USMC Hymn was a big hit !!!!
I highly recommend Greg !!!!!
Response from Worcester Bagpiper:
Tom,
It was a pleasure to play for the service this morning! A great send off for your friend. You could tell he was well loved by all. You don’t see gatherings like that anymore.

The Worcester Bagpiper played at my Fathers funeral service and did an excellent job! He was very communicative, prompt and professional - I would recommend booking him if you are in need of a bagpiper!
My friend a US Marine passed away and his friends wanted the Marine Corp hymn and amazing grace played at his burial service. The Piper worked with the funeral director and made everything easy. The timing of his playing was perfect, my friend was honored in a beautiful ceremony. It was closed with a perfect rendition of amazing grace that faded away slowly . I would recommend his service to anyone.
The Worcester Bagpiper was fantastic. He was on time, played great, and was enjoyed by all guests. Arrangements and correspondences were courteous and prompt.
Price Range: $250-1000
If hiring my services you will get a Bagpiper with proven Competition, teaching and Solo event experience.
Picking a piper is a very important part of the service… you always remember the piper and how they made you feel!
I am always 1/2 to 1 hours early for the event or service to ensure I am on time, have time to tune for the event and overcome any weather issues that may effect the instrument. Cold weather can prevent long periods of play and I recommend for the best quality the piper plays indoors or for very short periods of time.
I have a wide selection of uniform parts and can be dressed in a simple Jacket Al with kilt or a Military style uniform.
I play a wide variety of tunes to include funeral music, basic to advanced bagpipe marches to toe tapping hornpipes, reels and jigs. If time permits and the tune you would like is within reason to learn I can do that for your event.
I have been playing the pipes for 20 years or so now and have been lucky enough to have piping in the family.
My grandfather was a piper with Worcester Kiltie in grade 1 back in the day. I was then taught by Neil Gow in my early years. Neil was a professional grade piper in Scotland winning events such as the Marches at Braemar and taking many medals. He was taught by his grandfather High Munro the. pipe Sergeant of the Gordon Highlanders before being sent to Pipe Major George Cruikshank of the Gordon Highlanders. Before moving to the States he played with Bucksburn and District and later Worcester Kiltie.
After playing solo for many years I joined the Worcester Band in 2008 then taking over the Band at Neil’s request in 2010.
I continued to play with the band until 2019. I was lucky to have played in many World Championships in Scotland, Contests in Canada and all around the Eastern United States.
I currently teach the Worcester Police Band and have private Students that play and Win Prizes in the Solos . I have taught at one point many players who have moved up in the grades.
I currently play events when able between working a full time job and my bagpipe teaching.
Thank you for taking the time to look over my profile.
