It’s about you, our audience. You may have an event where you need background music and then later dance music. We have developed this project to adapt to most events. We have played rowdy bars to charity events.
We believe our set list is unique. Lots of great music for all ages. (Sorry no metal or country).
We come “plug and play”. You just need to give us a power outlet. That’s it!
All inquiries welcome, but our customers must come prepared to have fun.

How do you get both great music to sing along to And dance music?...Breaking News. The Breaking News experience allows your guests to enjoy some classic acoustic numbers and then transition to dance music as the event goes on. We play a wide variety of great music from the 70's, 80's right through today.
Whether its Simple Minds, Bowie, Duran Duran, One Republic we have it covered...literally.

We have all the gear! All you need is a great audience with a focus on having fun!
We can fit in tight spaces or play big stages. We adapt our band to what is required.
Fully electronic allowing us to control sound level to suit the audience and venue.
Our regular lighting package is included. (We can ramp it up for an additional charge)
We Can Register Your Event With SOCAN. (Roughly $75.00)
The venue or event Must Be registered with SOCAN to play covered music.
Breaking News believes in protecting music rights and will not play events that are not registered.
