Charlotte La Belle Araigne'e Burlesque

A fun filled performance and friendly professional who is easy to deal with

Charlotte La Belle Araigne'e started her career in California and has been performing Burlesque for well over a decade. She has performed all over the U.S., London, Canada, Jamaica, Greece and Italy. Though well versed in the classic stylings of historical burlesque, Charlotte takes a slightly different approach to burlesque. Her style is developed through performance art and many muses she grew up idolizing: Alice Cooper, Elvira, Carol Burnett, Gilda Radner, Lucille Ball, Heddy Lamar, and Nina Hagen to name a few. Her musical choices range from Classic Jazz standards, to Dixieland, to contemporary artists with a vintage flair. Charlotte is also an avid supporter of the current "Neo-Burlesque" movement going on across the globe and has produced shows of her own for 8 years. She currently performs regularly in Los Angeles and travels frequently to perform abroad. Her expertise in the teaching of burlesque has been sought after for many years, but she is only now accepted the proposal to pass on her talents to students.

A designated area in which to perform in is essential as well as a musical player that can put out a good sound around this area to make the performance stand out. Please specify if I will need to bring a CD or flash drive with my music on it. Any special lighting would be an added plus. Remember, rhinestoned costumes really sparkle nicely in the right light. ; )
