I am a 28 year old recording artist in the hip hop genre and I dabble a little in pop and r&b influences as well.
I love to be on stage and give the audience a great experience
I was not happy with this experience when I spoke with Kodiak the first thing he said was his check had not come and he didn’t want to have to charge me more but that might happen. I said I was sorry that could not happen. It was a corporate funded event, then he said I will call you at 11:30 PM to discuss what I wanted. He did call me about midnight. I told him what I was looking for was a singing telegram performance there was no Soundsystem just one hip-hop song for an individual that was returning to work , I was looking for a singing telegram. He would not be there any longer than 15 four minutes when he showed up the vibe was very upbeat. Everyone was welcoming the person back. We were laughing taking pictures when he came in. He had brought his backpacks he had to set up. It took 10+ minutes to get his speakers and his laptop and his password set up And then the individual performance seeing a really slow song. Everybody was very disappointed. They just walked out so I was not happy. He was a nice person but as for what I paid for I was not happy and I know they also gave him a $25 tip so I would not use your services again. I’m very sorry.
Response from Codiac:
Ok so first, you booked extremely last minute. I’ll start there.
You were aware that because there was no set up sound system that I would have to bring my own equipment AND set it up and you did not plan an area for me to do that. You pointed me somewhere that had zero access to an outlet so I had to quickly create MY OWN solution.
Then, you led this on for me to believe there was a window of 30 minutes for this event the entire time. My arriving slightly late still gave me enough time to get through over 2/3 of my planned set which would have included the more inspirational songs that you requested, which you were also aware of from our phone call the previous day that I’d already spent a considerable amount of time on the set and once you cleared up what you wanted, I explained to you what I had.
I have my own ears and heard you try MULTIPLE times to tease me for having to use some of the time setting up, which YOU KNEW I had to do. And my ears also heard the head director multiple times say how awesome what little I was able to do was, and made a point to shake my hand and tell me as well.
I feel like you somewhat set me up for failure and I had to pull myself out of the disappointment of how that went by telling myself that I got paid and wasn’t even able to complete what I spent a lot of time preparing for.
Even with the short notice that you gave me, I can tell that in less than 48 hours I spent more time setting up what I really wanted to give to Rob than you did.
And I currently work with an ex employee of yours, she didn’t have very nice things to say about why she left and said I should have asked to do something at the Newport location instead.
Do not try to insult me because of your lack of preparedness, again, clearly I was more prepared than you.
And it was 10 minutes from the time I met you, getting out of the car to me getting completely set up and started. I know I took a couple extra minutes waiting on my SECURED HD to

In every performance I always try to get the audience to take home a piece of me with them by learning something about me through the lyrics.
Samaad Terrel Thompson (born August 7, 1995), who goes by the name Terrell in his music career. He was born in Cincinnati. He first started with music when he was almost 5 years old. One of his biggest idols, Usher, got him singing at the time, and till this day he continues to be inspired by him. It was also during this time when he decided that he wanted to be famous in the music industry. When he was almost 9 he started to rap a little but never wrote anything down, he would just randomly say things that sounded really good. From there its where he started. Back in his 7th grade year he wrote a couple songs but didn't take them seriously, it wasn't untill 2009, towards the end of his 8th grade year did he write his first official rap. It was for a poetry project in his english class. He wrote it and everyone really liked (link hidden)at's what motivated him to start writing a few things seriously and see where it gets him. During the summer of '09 he had written a few more songs, but it wasn't until late October that he wanted to take it a step further. Terrell's biggest influences in rapping are; Drake, Lil Wayne, Eminem and more. He started performing early 2010 and since then has never looked back. Terrell strategically releases songs when the time is right, not by releasing every song he does, when he does it. Starting mixtape series "Outta This World" and "The Shoutout", Terrell also has other mixtapes on the way, an LP and EP under his belt and is always hungry for more. "So Lost" had a majority of songs produced by him and he plans to produce nearly everything for the next LP mixtape "F.O.U.N.D". What's next for Terrell?
I really don't require much, I don't even know what I'm going to put here.
Just lemme know if the event is 420 friendly
