Author, trainer and certified coach, Julie speaks to groups on numerous topics related to creating values-based habits, prioritization, and keeping joy and passion in one’s work, parenting, and life. She specializes in helping organizations support their high performing parents through transitions. By teaching working parents how to keep their chaos level under “code yellow,” organizations increase engagement, effectiveness, and retention. Additionally, parents can do the important work of raising the next generation without blowing into a flaming “code red.”
Her live workshops have entertained and enlightened audiences large and small since 1997.

Julie Ford of Julz of Life is a wife, mom, certified life coach, speaker, trainer and author of Creating Time and Energy: A Foundational Workbook for Scattered Parents. She works with her clients to define what matters most in their lives, and to realize what is (and isn't) working. Collaboratively, they move through a plan to find more joy and less chaos in the everyday. Julie speaks to groups and leads live and virtual classes on numerous topics related to creating values-based habits, communication, chaos tolerance, and keeping joy in work and life. Her live workshops have entertained and enlightened audiences large and small since 1997.
Her background at large corporations (like GTE, Arthur Andersen, Right Management and Deloitte) paired with the love of parenting her two girls, has led her to combine the best of the board room with the best of the family room. She’s ecstatic that more corporations are catching on to the need for holistic support of their employees. When things are running smoothly at home, amazing things can happen at work!
Julie has worked with hundreds of clients: mothers, fathers, entrepreneurs, professionals, and career seekers all looking for more treasure in their lives. She has written over 350 resumes and talked numerous job candidates off ledges after layoffs. She's simplified tangled processes for training delivery for professional services firms, ironed out wrinkled fundraising events, and streamlined daily habits for dozens of parents and their families.
Passionate about writing and communication, Julie's Master's thesis was on the importance of writing in a coaching relationship. Her second book (in progress) is focused on mitigating chaos, especially that brought about by a lack of effective communication and connection.
Julie lives in southern Wisconsin with her husband, their two daughters and their dog, Sully. For fun, she and her family fabricate impromptu song parodies, hold dance parties in the kitchen, insert Pixar quotes in real-life context, and learn something new every day.
