We had Mr. Sully play some welcoming tunes for the arriving guest for our wedding as well as the Bridal party walk down the aisle. He set the mood perfectly and then there was this special request... If you haven't heard MJ's "Smooth Criminal" on the guitar you're missing out! You had to be there! I've got nothing but respect for the talent and professionalism of Mr. Sully. If you're looking for someone to make your event uniquely special... Look no further!

On Saturday, September 9, 2017, Mr. Eldon Sully performed an assortment of jazz selections for the Marlow-Barnes Wedding, which provided a calming and intimate atmosphere for arriving wedding guests. Prior to the ceremony, Mr. Sully captivated the audience with his amazing renditions of selections by outstanding artists such as George Benson, Larry Carlton, Four Play; and Mr. Sully's very own specialties. His version of the Wedding March was quite unique; and the Bride could not have been more pleased. After the ceremony, Mr. Sully's array of selections was a performance that left you wanting more; and the wedding guests are still tweeting about his performance. He is one of the most humble, personable and dynamic artist whom anyone would feel honored to have perform at their special event. Mr. Sully, thank you for taking our guests on a captivating musical journey.

I count myself extremely lucky to have happened on the site that listed Eldon as a guitarist in the area. His talent, professionalism and kindness FAR surpassed any of my expectations. Eldon played in my home for my daughters wedding and he was a joy to work with. His talent far exceeded our small affair of 43; however, you would have never known it. He gave our event the attention and professionalism that he would have given a wedding of 500. My husband described him as a class act and we had MANY positive comments from our guests. He set the tone as guests arrived, played for the processional and continued that wonderful vibe following the ceremony as guests had drinks and appetizers. I appreciate so much his sharing his talent with us and it is with much enthusiasm that I recommend Eldon for any event or genre you may have in mind. I can only hope that I have an opportunity to work with Eldon again in the future.

Mr. Sully performed for me on short notice when another performer cancelled at the last minute and did so during the busy holiday season. He is a professional and a smooth operator.

From the initial meeting with Eldon, we were impressed and comforted to know that our event's entertainment would be in great hands. Start to finish, he seamlessly integrated into our plans and schedule without reluctance. Eldon’s arrangements are meticulous and his range is great, making him a perfect fit for large and small gatherings. He’s prompt, performs effortlessly, and even provides entertainment during his breakdown. He made our social absolutely perfect, all that we envisioned, and the talk of the town. The guests gave repeated compliments about his performance and the atmosphere that his music created. It was all that we envisioned.

Eldon provided background music for the evening soiree for our professional organization (International Public Management Association for Human Resources) on the balcony at the Hilton Garden Inn. His music was the perfect touch. He also carried himself very professionally, but was able to readily engage with the participants. Great choice for our event.

Eldon's musical performance was the perfect compliment for
our daughter's wedding. He is easy to work with and a pleasure to work with.
Eldon communicates well throughout the process and is prepared and punctual. Best of all, his 'can do' attitude made everything from planning to completion seamless and stress free for us.

Eldon Sully performed for a private nonprofit soft opening event with our most elite donors, board members, and community leaders. He arrived on time, set-up without any issues, and crafted a crowd-pleasing performance that truly enhanced our event. We received an innumerable number of compliments for his performance. We would definitely bring him back to perform again, and I encourage you to book him for your event.

Mr. Sully played during my mother's in law birthday party and he was de light of the party. It really added a nice touch and made it more enjoyable. His selection of music is fantastic and also he prepared the songs she liked more. It was very nice having him there.
Classical Guitarist
Eldon was delightful to work with and his classical guitar is divine. He performed for a corporate after hours event held in our offices. Although we asked for classical guitar, he was entirely open to performing other genres and taking requests. He is an ultimate professional, very responsive and I enthusiastically give him 5 stars across the board. I highly recommend him for any event.

We had previously watched a wedding on the beach where Eldon played and it was exceptional. When we approached him afterwards he was very friendly and more than happy to explain to us how to book him for our own wedding ceremony. When we contacted Mr. Sully about performing at our wedding his communication was prompt and clear and he was great to work with. He provided ideas and sound clips to help us find the perfect music for our processional and recessional. He was more than willing to play two songs that were not on his list for our ceremony that have special meaning to my wife and I, so the fact that Eldon accommodated our request further proves his professionalism and willingness to work with his clients. Our guests enjoyed the mood he set with his classical takes on modern music. We couldn't have been happier!

Mr. Sully is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Very professional and understanding. He made our wedding even more wonderful than we could have imagined.

From the moment I spoke with Mr. Sully I knew that my wedding ceremony needed his music. I was able to choose the music I wanted him to play and when he arrived at my wedding location (early), impeccably dressed, and ready to play I was so happy. His guitar playing skills are incredible and many of our guests recorded him playing because he was that GOOD! Thank you Mr. Sully (we were never properly introduced in person). What I wanted he made happen, no questions asked (Mr. Sully's rendition of "Happy" at the end of our ceremony was amazing!)That's a true professional!

We hired Eldon to play for our recent Orphan Helpers Art in the Vineyard fund raiser at the Williamsburg Winery. We knew we wanted some good music that would add to, but not overpower the event. Eldon with his blend of easy listening jazz and treatment of popular songs was exactly what we needed. His music added significantly to the success of the event. We would hire him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone else looking for music for a party or an event.

Eldon came highly recommended to me by my wedding coordinator, who had heard him play at another wedding and raved about his skills... We hired him to play ceremony music for our wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Garden on September 27th. He was just fantastic. Knew the songs I wanted (some obscure) and made other great suggestions. He is such a pro and he plays with the most beautiful tone! Different from others, truly.. He is also a very sweet guy. I only met him in person at the wedding, and he just has a lovely presence. He was so nice to me, my husband, all of our guests, and to my brother, who is also a guitarist and had lots of questions for Eldon about his playing after the ceremony:) Hiring him will be one of the best decisions you make. It was for us!

Eldon played at our wedding and it was exceptional. His communication was prompt and clear and he was wonderful to work with. He provided ideas and sound clips to help us find the perfect music for our processional and recessional. Our guests enjoyed the serene and joyful ambiance he created as they assembled. We couldn't have been happier!

Eldon's performance at my daughter's wedding ceremony was absolutely wonderful! As the mom of the bride, I was not able to hear the music for the prelude....but the I did get to hear all of the processional and recessional music. My guests commented on the beauty of his performance. I found Eldon to be so kind and personable when speaking to him about the music for the wedding. I highly recommend him!

Eldon recently performed at our wedding in Virginia Beach. Not only was he to perform before and after the ceremony, but he accompanied my brother who performed a song for the wedding. Eldon sent a track for my brother to practice with, and arrived at our venue over 2 hours early to practice with him and make sure everything sounded perfect. Eldon sounded amazing throughout the ceremony, and stayed afterward to provide music during the photo session. He is without a doubt one of the most professional performers I have ever worked with. I recommend him to anyone who is looking to add a beautiful background to any occasion. He is worthy of a 6 out of 5 in my opinion, because he goes above and beyond.

The Cincinnati Chapter of MOLES hired Eldon to perform at our national luncheon in Winston Salem, North Carolina, he far exceeded our expectations. Our theme for the luncheon was "Monet's Garden" and indeed our guest felt as if they were transported to a beautiful garden in Paris thanks to the excellent musical selections by Mr. Sully. We were delighted and our guest could not stop praising Eldon's performance.
Sincerely,

Eldon played for us at the Princess Anne Country Club and did a wonderful job. Easy to deal with and very accommodating. Great communication.
Highly recommended.

We began talking to Mr. Sully over a year ago after I heard a sample of his music on Gig Salad. I knew immediately that we wanted him to be our "player". Throughout the year, we communicated through email, Skype and phone. His repertoire of music was just perfect for our needs. His response to any of our requests were always quick and professional! We loved having him as part of our wedding...he played prior to the wedding, accompanied a soloist, and then played during our cocktail hour. Everyone said they loved hearing him play! We are so happy he was a part of our outdoor ceremony on the water. It would not have been as perfect without him!

Eldon did an awesome job performing at our April wedding. He was a consummate professional every time I dealt with him; he communicated promptly and efficiently leading up to and organizing the event, he made good recommendations in helping us plan the music for our wedding ceremony, he was able to accommodate a couple of special song requests, and he played beautifully prior to, during and after our ceremony. I felt he charged a very reasonable fee for playing and I would highly recommend him as a wedding ceremony musician.
We hired Mr. Eldon Sully just from reading the reviews on here. We are from Nashville and were looking for an acoustic guitarist to provide a little ambiance and background music during the outdoor cocktail hour prior to our son's rehearsal dinner for his wedding weekend in Richmond, VA. Since we were from Nashville and were looking for someone in the Richmond area, we found gig salad to be a great resource as we did not know where to start our search. Mr. Sully's reviews were great and video was provided so we could see what he does firsthand. Our rehearsal dinner was held at the Country Club of Virginia in Richmond and he kindly drove over from the Hampton, Virginia area. He was exactly what we were looking for in a very talented guitarist, he has an excellent repertoire, he is very dependable and reliable in both communication with us and with doing what we had agreed upon. We could not have been more pleased and I will be happy to speak on his behalf if anyone has further questions. I will also be happy to serve as a reference or recommendation for him as needed. His beautiful music was just the perfect addition to the outdoor setting and ambiance for the cocktail hour preceding the dinner. Thank you Mr. Sully!

We hired Mr. Sully to play for our wedding ceremony on the beach, as well as music for our cocktail hour. I was planning my wedding from 200 miles. I communicated with Mr. Sully through email before the event. He was very prompt about responding to my emails. He was extremely accommodating to our request. On the day of the wedding, he was early and prepared with all equipment needed to play on the beach. He was dressed very professional. The music he played was absolutely beautiful!! Everyone at our wedding enjoyed his talent. Thank you so much for being part of our special day Mr. Sully! We recommend Mr. Sully to everyone we know.

I hired Eldon over the weekend for a Starbucks corporate event in Virginia Beach. He was extremely communicative from the start, but in the end he exuded the highest level of professional correspondence out of the many guitarists we hired across the country. At the end of the event he wrapped up with me and I hired glowing reviews from his event coordinator. I would highly recommend him for anything corporate or personal.

Eldon played at our office Christmas party. Everyone was very pleased with his selections which included seasonal, jazz and classical music. Eldon arrived early, dressed professionally and is
the a master of the guitar. Because of his interesting experience and fun personality, he is also a great party guest. Eldon even tried some of my husband's raw oysters. You will not be disappointed when you hire this accomplished professional.

It was a joy to have Eldon play for my retirement reception. He was highly professional, got there well before the event. He is an accomplished musician who has my highest recommendation.
Eldon's performance was wonderful at our brunch wedding reception. He captured the interest of our young and young at heart guests. He included selections we had sent him, as well as those of his own. He adapted his playing to our venue, volume just right. He was technically skilled and obviously loved what he was doing. I recommend him highly; you will not be disappointed.
