Great officiant abs we enjoyed having her complete our wedding
Thank you so much for officiating our ceremony! We were so pleased with how personal, yet true to the region of El Paso and its indigenous people and ceremonies you presented the experience to us and our guests. We appreciated so much that the loved ones whom we had lost were mentioned and remembered, as well. It means very much to us that you shared in this time and helped us express our commitment to one another, I thank you again and wish you all the best. (I hopefully will be getting pictures soon which I will share!)
Our wedding was not of the traditional sense. We did not have witnesses, we are two men, we are from Texas and not New Mexico. My fiancé had scheduling issues, almost seemed like it would never happen. Enter Cemelli. She called me the night before, asked me how we were doing, what would we like to see in our wedding, was I familiar with a two-spirit ceremony. Things I may not have foreseen she anticipated and never judged, brought me peace with only a phone call and eased my soul throughout our ceremony. I fear even now through words what understanding, acceptance and unique my ceremony was at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing, courtesy of the owners. I will forever hold the cooperation and support from both Cemelli and the Ardovino’s owners that will be held dearly for decades to come. Your search stops here for the search for a wedding officiant.
Response from First Nations Ministry Weddings:
Gracias! Tlazokamati!
It is always an honor to be asked to join someone in ceremony, and your simple wedding was grand! Thank you!
Cemelli de Aztlan preformed our intimate wedding yesterday, December 24th, Christmas Eve. A time when I'm sure she had many plans to be with family and friends. Cemelli touched our hearts with her eloquent, from the heart ceremony. She was genuinely interested in us as a couple, and bought much emotion and caring to our ceremony. To be as accomplished as she is, she is humble and kind, even accepting our invitation to have cake with us and even took a selfie with us! With Cemelli, it's not about the money, it's about sharing in your day to help make it as special as can be.
