A solo vocalist with acoustic guitar. I AM ABLE TO PROVIDE A DUO/TRIO/ OR LARGER IF NEEDED. THESE ACTS WILL INCLUDE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING: DRUMS, LEAD GUITAR, BASS GUITAR. (Video of my trio band is included in the video section.) My sound equipment is enough for both small and large venues. I can play a wide variety of songs suitable for any audience. Expect to see a friendly and interactive entertainer who can mold into any setting - I can act as a quiet source of background music, but I can also act as a lively focal point for busier crowds.
Accompanying her powerful voice and wide vocal range with guitar, Frankie Raye is a singer/songwriter based out of Tampa, FL. Her music is a collection of thoughtful and witty songs delivered through catchy and up-beat melodies, with hints of 1950's pop, older Broadway, and 1990's acoustic-coffee-shop music. Her arrangements are infused with tongue-in-cheek lyrics that are reminiscent of the artists that inspired her when she was young – she has been compared to Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Joni Mitchell, and Melanie. She has been featured on ABC and CBS affiliate news programs, as well various radio shows that regularly play her music (she has airplay in various cities around Florida, and has gotten airplay in Texas and California, as well). To date, she has performed at over 60 venues throughout the Sunshine State, including the Hard Rock Casino, and both Steinbrenner and Tropicana fields. Frankie's new CD, "A Thing or Two About a Dream", is available for purchase through several online retailers, including CD Baby, iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Mp3. Her music has also gained attention from several streaming sites, such as Spotify and iHeartradio.
As far as her cover music goes, Frankie plays an average of 5-6 shows a week at various restaurants, covering everything from Janis Joplin to Matchbox 20, Otis Redding to the Beatles, Top 40 songs, 90s alternative music, plus many other genres. It's difficult to pin her "style", because she plays so many different types of songs, though they all are delivered through acoustic guitar and soulful vocals. She is willing to adapt to different settings, whether it's a loud party or a quiet gathering, and she will learn specific songs by request.

I provide everything, though I need to have some source of power available for my sound board. If no outlet is near, I have an extension chord (up to 15ft).
