My goal is to give each of your guests an amazing and unforgettable experience. I believe every guest interaction is equally important and whether I'm strolling or performing on stage, my focus is quality of attention. That means interacting with guests in a way that leaves them feeling special. I always check in with clients a few days before the event to see if any last minute changes or requests are needed.

With strolling magic, I arrive and make contact with the event planner to go over any last requests or details. Then I start to work the event, making my way to as many guests as possible, giving them a quality of attention often unfound in magic. I can even work in a personal message or company message with the strolling magic. If there are special requests, I will work with you to ensure success.

With stand up or stage work, I arrive early, assess the performing area, and then setup and test equipment. This could include sound check, meeting with lighting or sound techs, and coordinating with planners and emcee's. I can also make announcements, give out awards, and any other accommodations while I'm on stage.

Birthday shows: I arrived approximately 15 to 20 minutes early (30+ minutes if a sound system, backdrop, or other special equipment are needed). I will set up, test equipment, get birthday guest information so I can make the show all about them!

Chris Hester has been fascinated by the performing art of magic since he was nine years old. He was greatly influenced by the NBC specials "World's Greatest Magic" where he saw Jeff McBride and David Williamson for the first time. Raised by supportive grandparents who nurtured his interest, they took him to the Queen of Hearts magic shop in Plano, TX. Chris' path of learning would come full circle, with the two magicians who first inspired him, becoming personal mentors.

As he grew older, Chris discovered that magic represented the moments in our lives where we feel a sense of wonder and awe, and that it has the power to recreate childlike feelings of discovering something for the first time. As adults, that feeling fades and gets lost over time. Despite what the TV shows may portray, Chris believes that magic is not about fooling people. It's about entertaining and creating a real connection with them. With every performance, he aims to transport his audience to a realm where the extraordinary becomes tangible, fostering a real and memorable experience for everyone involved.

With a passion for close-up, stand-up, and stage magic, Chris has performed for high-profile clients such as iHeartRadio, Hillwood Airways, the Samaritan Inn Gala, and St. Jude, as well as hundreds of private clients throughout DFW. He is also a member of the Jeff McBride Magic and Mystery School, a school dedicated to learning the performing art of magic.

When he's not performing magic, you can find Chris spending time with family, playing guitar, listening to Merle Haggard, and powerlifting. With his dedication and passion for the performing art of magic, Chris brings his unique and unforgettable performances to events of all types.

I provide my own P/A sound system that rivals professional DJ’s with 1000 watt QSC speakers, speaker stands, and a reliable Sennheiser wireless microphone system with lavalier mic.

I can provide lighting upon request at an additional cost. This can range from RGBW Par lights to party lights that put on light shows to music.

I can perform in as little as a 10x10 space.

A small show can run off of one outlet. For larger events requiring 2 speakers, 2 outlets are needed. I provide my own power conditioning strips and surge protectors.
