JASON MOVRICH is a Bay Area professional guitarist, vocalist, ukulelist, bandleader who performs a great mix of soul, rock, blues, funk, jazz, r&b, reggae and more. He is available to perform as a solo act, or add more musicians for a duo, trio, or larger band on up to a large party dance band for your event... weddings, parties, corporate events, fundraiser, festival and much more.

As a professional musician and band leader who has performed for thousands of events throughout the US, JASON MOVRICH brings high-energy to each and every event. He is available to perform for your private party, wedding, corporate event and many types of events. He can provide nice relaxing background music, or help you dance the night away. He can perform solo guitar and vocals, or add more musicians... on up to a 10-piece dance band. Jason and his band's have performed at some of the finest venues, for some of the largest corporate clients.
About
JASON MOVRICH is a San Francisco-based professional guitarist, vocalist and bandleader. He is a versatile musician and music producer with a strong passion for classic soul, rhythm & blues, rock, funk, reggae and jazz.
Jason is currently the bandleader of the San Francisco-based bands Big Blu Soul Revue and Jason Movrich & Friends. Their music mixes classic soul, funk, blues and jazz, performing throughout California and beyond.
Jason has performed on stages throughout the US, having shared various co-bills and festivals with The Revolution (Prince), Fred Wesley, members of Galactic and Greyboy Allstars, Robert Walter, Glen David Andrews, Irvin Mayfield, Vinyl, Papa Mali, Fareed Haque, actor/musicians Jim Belushi, and more.
Jason draws from multiple influences ranging from funk legends James Brown and The Meters to soul artists Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin to rock legends the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. From his days growing up in Chicago, he discovered blues music, enjoying live shows of legendary artists like Son Seals, Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy and Lonnie Brooks. You can hear all of these influences in his guitar playing. His strong vocals blend his bluesy and soulful lends itself well with various music genres.
