I am a ventriloquist, puppeteer, storyteller and balloon artist. I do shows for all ages. I perform for libraries, elementary schools, picnics, business banquets, grand openings, birthday parties, corporate shows and special deliveries. I do 7-8 minute Singing Telegrams within a 25 mile radius of Knoxville for a personal visit. Other shows available 1000 miles radius of Knoxville, TN. There are some events that I do not book long distances simply because the market value is not practical to do so, unless I happen to be in the area with larger events already booked. We hired for a singing telegram, but he added much more than just one song. It was a small skit with song and had everybody laughing. We will definitely hire him again for our next party!

That 3year old girl was so sweet
When I wanted to do something extra special for Mothers Day for my mom in such a small town, I had no idea I would be lucky enough to find such a wonderful, fun, light-hearted, and quirky opportunity!
My mom’s been going through a lot this year, and lo and behold I found the perfect opportunity to make her smile again. Not only did she get serenaded by a professional ventriloquist, but also received a beautiful bouquet of balloon flowers in her favorite colors. When she called me in thanks it was the happiest I’ve heard from her in a long time!
The booking was incredibly easy thanks to the personal one-on-one call I received the morning after I reached out that I was interested made things incredibly simple. I was asked to provide specific details such as my mom’s favorite colors and types of music, what her name was, etc, and then got a very detailed idea of how to prepare for the surprise and what I was paying for.
They couldn’t have made it easier to book if they tried! I highly recommend this as a fantastic way to give them not just a gift but a memorable experience they won’t soon forget! Now my only problem is coming up with something next year to match this one and I’m not sure if I can! 10 stars out of 5 if I could. A wonderful, pleasant, memorable experience and a lot of fun.

Ron Lighty was at our library's Summer Reading Program and did a great job entertaining children and adults alike. The kids really liked the ventriloquist puppets and the build a wall relay.
Mr. Lighty went out of his way to make my husband's 50th Birthday Party a success! He called and talked to me so that he knew about my husband's interests to really personalize it. Mr. Lighty and Jason were so funny. He showed up at a restaurant and entertained everyone at my table who were of all ages.

We booked Ron for our son's6th birthday party. Just a small event....we all had a wonderful time. The kids really enjoyed the show. Ron gets the kids involved by having them participate with the puppets. Lol, he even got my brother up there and had us all laughing to tears!!! Mr. Lighty and his puppets were a unique addition to our parents 50th anniversary party. Everyone enjoyed his clean brand of fun and humor. He included the guests of honor in his program which made it even more special.
I moved to Texas and I wanted to do something really special for my bestfriend's 24th birthday. This definitely caught her off guard! Ron was very accommodating. We booked "Ron Lighty" for our 2014 Summer Reading Program at The Graysville Public Library in Graysville Alabama in June of this year. What a pleasure he was. He brought along his little friend "Jimmy Basswood" and he was so funny. Looking out into the audience and seeing all the little boys & girls laughing was priceless. We wanted someone who could entertain the kids and Ron Lighty did just that. He is so enjoyable to just sit back and listen to. All the kids wanted a picture of themselves with Jimmy Basswood. Ron, made a giant balloon pig that was one of the surprises I gave my wife on our 31st wedding anniversary. She likes pigs. When I turned the corner with it, you should have seen the look on her face. Complete puzzlement with complete joy! It is standing in our living room now. Ron says they last about as long as flowers. Ron was super kind enough to remind me and bring it to me at my place of employment. Excellent gift for anyone!
