John Vincelli got into magic at a very young age when he received a Fisher-Price magic set and from a magician making sponge balls multiply in his little hands. As his interest in magic grew, he eventually performed magic for his family and friends.
Over the years, it remained a hobby and anyone that saw his card magic said they didn't ever want to play cards with John Vincelli, especially if he was the one dealing out the cards. on several occasions, restaurant owners would see him performing some tricks for his friends and they'd get impressed at how entertaining he was. Sometimes, people from other tables would get up just to watch. This would prompt him job offers to work at the restaurant. However, John Vincelli had no aspirations to be a magician so he would respectfully decline the offers.
That eventually changed when one of his magician friends told him to stop wasting his talent and to actually start getting booked for shows and events. After being told on several occasions and seeing his magician friends having a lot of fun, he caved and decided to get booked. It started with a birthday event, which then lead to other birthday events. Through word of mouth, John Vincelli started getting booked for weddings, Christmas parties, corporate events, and trade shows.
