I am a classically trained violinist. I am willing to play for any type of event, such as a wedding, party, or special occasion etc.
I do solo, chamber music, and orchestral gigs.
I am open to online/virtual events also.
Jonathan was wonderful in every way!! We had a cocktail brunch wedding and he played throughout. I left many of the details up to him, and he played a beautiful mix of classical and jazz. I’d recommend him to anyone!

When scheduling with Jonathan, I asked for clips of his work so that I could hear how he sounded and I could get a feel for his work. Jonathan did not hesitate and quickly was able to get me several different options for us to listen to. It was a go! My husband and I talked about it and we kind of wanted another violinist to play, so we asked if Jonathan performs as a duo as well. He said yes and was available for that service.
Not only did the performance exceed our expectations, it brought our vision to life.
Jonathan was friendly and prepared. We will definitely book him in the future and highly recommend him for any type of event. You will not be disappointed!

Jonathon was very nice. He arrived on time as we had talked about. He played much longer than we had expected. He stayed for the whole ceremony and Fr. Jesse even asked him to play while we went to say a prayer at Blessed Mother and when we walked out and even played while everyone was leaving. WE WERE VERY PLEASED as well as Fr Jesse, who did not expect a violinist and pays an instrument himself.

Jonathon was great and played wonderful. Fr Jesse was very impressed. He also requested Jonathan to play extra piece when we were sent to pray to The Blessed Mother . He stayed thru the whole service and played even at the end, which was much more than we had expected. He was so great and really made our renewal so special . We talked to him afterwards about my granddaughter getting lessons as she has just started playing the violin. We really want to thank him for doing a job well done.

I have studied with Wanchi Huang at James Madison University for six years. I am currently working on a doctoral degree at Catholic University of America, studying with Jody Gatwood. When I was a student at JMU, I taught several students privately. The students ranged from retirees to JMU faculty and students to adolescents. I am now teaching at Baltimore Talent Education Center, where I teach violin in small groups and individual lessons. The students at BTEC range from pre- kindergarden through high school. I also have festival experience. I have been a student at Brevard Music Center, Heifetz International Music Institute, BayView Music Festival, and I was a Teaching Fellow at Interlochen Arts Camp in the summer of 2011.
