We booked Josh for our wedding event and he was a highlight of our event. Everyone enjoyed his close-up magic and it was a hit.

Nothing but good things to say about our experience with Josh. I was hosting a party for ~100 guest for our office holiday party. Josh had good communication prior to event. He showed up on time, we discussed him doing mingling magic during cocktail hour and table to table magic during dinner. He was a hit with all the guest for the mingling magic. Great personality and ability to interact with all types of people. At dinner, he picked up that most guests were busy eating and talking with the table so table magic where they were having to focus on cards and the tricks might not be the best. He suggested a quick stage performance which was not planned by either of us. He ran to his car, got a few props. We had no microphone stand so he improvised with no mic but was able to project his voice to the crowd. When he got up the crowd immediately focused on him and he got a bunch of clapping for each trick. I was told after it was out best holiday party ever and Josh played a huge role in that. 10/10!

Josh was great throughout the entire experience. He showed up early to get the "lay of the land" and then spent an hour walking around performing magic/slight of hand tricks for the students. After this, he performed his show - which the students really enjoyed. I would definitely recommend Josh!

We hosted an awards banquet for college student-athletes and Josh was our closing entertainer. We gave Josh two specific but unusual parameters, giving him much less time than he is used to and limiting him on what he could do on stage because of that time-frame (no big illusions).

While most older adults were used to the traditional tricks, this event was geared towards college-aged students – and they seemed to love it. He kept them laughing, engaged, and when his time was up, the students were disappointed – they wanted to see more.

I booked Josh for walk around magic at our exhibit hall opening for our annual conference. Being new to GigSalad, I additionally researched him online. His online media materials seemed professionally made, but I was reluctant at first because those seemed dated. If you're in the same place I was prior to booking Josh and possibly feeling reluctant...THERE'S NO NEED TO FEEL THAT WAY!! Book him today!! I had a bird's eye view of our exhibit floor. I looked for him several times during the opening and had no problem finding him at any given time; he was where the circle of attendees were. Being the event organizer, I didn't have an opportunity to spectate first-hand during the event. At the close of the event, he accommodated with a handful of tricks for myself and some wandering vendors. Words that I would use to describe Josh: professional, courteous...AWESOME!! He knows his craft and was a joy to work with. I would book him again with no questions and highly recommend him to anyone needing a close-up walk-around magician.

We hired Josh to walk around and do close-up magic for/with the guests at our wedding reception. He was super nice and responsive if I had a question before the wedding date, which took a lot of stress off of my end. Our wedding guests loved his tricks and I really think it was something that will not be forgotten! Josh even found me and the groom at one point and asked us if he could show us the tricks that we had missed. We really liked that part a lot because we got to relax and enjoy our time right at the end of our reception.

When choosing entertainment for our Annual Dinner we look for someone who will engage the audience. Encouraging participation keeps the pace of the show going and keeps the attention of the audience. This can be difficult after the audience has had a filling meal! Josh nailed it! If you have seen his show you know that I mean that literally. Josh is a wonderful entertainer that was well received by our community.

Josh provided the entertainment for our annual Christmas Party. He walked through the crowd during happy hour and entertained everyone with all kinds of tricks. He was both entertaining and amusing. Several people commented on the "penetration" trick he performed when he took the stage to perform for the entire crowd. They were terrified - mesmerized - amused - and entertained! THANKS, JOSH! We hired Josh to mingle with guests at an outdoor event we were hosting for about 300 people. He did a fantastic job of interacting with all our guests and everyone was amazed by his tricks. He was an absolute professional throughout the entire process, from meeting with us before to learn more about the event to handling the extreme humidity we experienced at our outdoor event.
