K-Era is a fourteen-member dance crew based on Oahu, Hawaii that specializes in K-pop (Korean pop) dance covers. However, their dances can range to hip-hop and/or pop artists as well, depending on the preference of the client.

When it comes to performance set lists, we at K-Era are flexible depending on the specific event and/or the client's personal preference. We are not bound to one artist- group or soloist, American pop/hip-hop or Korean pop. We want to work to entertain the audience as well as provide what our potential clients will request of us to the best of our abilities, whether that means doing a full BTS set list or a medley of mixed songs.
While our set-lists are, at maximum, ten minutes, we can also perform at a maximum of three times for your event, again based upon the client's personal preference and/or the length of the event.
K-Era is based on Oahu, Hawaii, and because of this, we are unable to travel to inter-island and/or mainland events.
K-Era, short for Kascade Era, is a fourteen-member Korean pop dance cover group made up of young adults and teens from around the island of Oahu. Since its formation in May 2019, K-Era has continuously published dance covers of popular k-pop songs on their YouTube channel, as well as performed at the annual Honolulu Korean Festival in August 2019 and the E Pluribus Unum, Out of Many, One festival held by the Korean American Foundation of Hawaii.
We will request that, for performances, there is a stage, or just a flat, clear area set aside for a group of about seven-ten people to dance with full energy without potentially hitting one another or getting injured in general.
In terms of sound, we will request for there to be a speaker that will either accept an auxiliary (AUX) cord or is able to be connected to a computer so we can play the audio for our set-lists. Also, we will provide our own lightning cord/dongle cord as the iPhone audio adapter if needed.
As previously stated, our set-lists are dependent upon the type of event that we are hired for and/or the client's personal preference. This can mean that if we perform at a BTS event, our set list will consist of purely BTS songs, and this applies to any group. However, if we perform at an event dedicated to K-pop in general, we will take the liberty to choose the songs from any artists ourselves unless given a certain artist by the client or organizer. Again, we are extremely flexible (and we all enjoy various k-pop groups), so we are not picky with the artist you may want us to perform.
Also, if we are requested to perform multiple times at the same event, the organizer or client can decide whether they want us to perform either different set-lists at the different times or perform the same set-list over again. For reference, we will only perform three times at maximum for the same event.
We at K-Era draw much of our inspiration from the k-pop groups that we cover. As much as we want to leave our own legacy in this era, we also strive to display the hard work, talent, and discipline that the original artists we cover have shown us through their own performances.
Besides drawing inspiration from the k-pop groups that we cover, we are also inspired by other Korean-pop cover groups such as Koreos, East2West, and Eclipse. To us, they provide a high standard that we can aspire to reach, not only in terms of dance but also as the sorts of people that we want to become.
