Karen Donaldson as "Dolly Parton"

Audience members will be thoroughly entertained and feel as if "Dolly" is right there in front of them! I love audience interaction, so I will talk with them, sing to them, bring them up on stage, etc. If you have someone in particular, that you would love to see on stage with Dolly, I will work that into my set. I'm great with "meet and greets" , photo ops, etc. and will cater my performance to your needs.

Karen Donaldson has sung as the opening act for recording artists like Trace Adkins, and Ricky Van Shelton. Originally from Danville, VA - she has lived and worked in the Myrtle Beach area for the past 13 years in a variety of venues and shows. She has been featured in regional and national commercials and has been associated with theatrical productions both onstage and in consulting positions. Her professional theatre experience includes acting in the "Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre" shows at the House of Blues, "The Dean Martin Show" at The Palace Theatre, and performed as "Dolly Parton", "Ellie May Clampit", and "Nancy Sinatra" among other various roles with "Dino's TV Variety Show" at 2001 Entertainment Complex. She was cast in the off-Broadway hit "The Marvelous Wonderettes" as "Suzy" and was the understudy for both female roles in "Golf: The Musical". She has performed for many charities and sung the National Anthem at many events. Karen also works for Legends in Concert and travels worldwide performing as "Dolly"! Karen has been performing full-time year round from 2006 to present.
