CLIENT TESTIMONIALS....
"From the moment you stepped on stage until the last Thank You, you delivered. I have been responsible for these meetings for years now, and I have never received so many hallway comments. Laughter is a shared experience and in that laughter you offered [our] employees an opportunity to lighten up, laugh and get caught in the moment. Please accept my thanks for all that you brought to the [presentation] with your style, sense of humor and most wonderful perspective on the world."
- Lisa Alexander, Wright Express
"Comedy through the perceptive eye of a loving wife and mother; prepared with the tenacity of an attorney, and tempered with a dash of southern charm. Karen Morgan hits home for men and women alike."
-Bill Taylor
Director, WCSH6
"Because of the countless rave reviews, her engaging presence and extreme popularity, she will back. She had our audiences roaring with laughter."
-Robin Chibroski, Executive Director,
Ronald McDonald House
Born and raised in Athens, Georgia, Karen Morgan's southern accent is an anomaly in Maine where she now lives. After years as a successful trial lawyer, Karen became a full-time comedian in 2005 after being chosen as a finalist on Nick at Nite's First Search for the Funniest Mom in America. She has worked nonstop ever since in theatres, clubs and for corporate clients around the country.
Karen's southern comedy style invites the audience to sit in the front porch swing and laugh with her while she talks about family, parenting, marriage and life in general. She can be heard on Sirius XM Radio's Blue Collar Comedy, Raw Dog and Laugh Break as well as every week on the Coast Morning Show. She is the only comedian ever to be featured by Nestle in their national campaign.
Karen's business and legal experience make her a popular choice for corporate comedy engagements. She is a recurring performer for many national nonprofits such as Ronald McDonald House and the American Heart Association. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cancer Community Center and has produced their successful comedy fundraising events since 2005.
Karen lives in Cumberland, Maine with her husband, three kids, two neurotic birds and a big dumb dog. Still licensed to practice law in both Maine and Georgia, she has been called the "Funniest Lawyer on Both Sides of Mason-Dixon Line" However, she plans to stick with comedy until someone in her family gets arrested - again.
