Making your next event, wedding or party an overwhelming success is the main goal for KP and The Classics. This 6-piece party band performs classic hits from the 60’s along with dance floor favorites from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today. With a great song list, pro sound and lighting, A-list musicians - KP and The Classics are a 6-piece band that is expandable to a 9-piece ensemble based on the needs of the client. A horn section, an organist for wedding ceremonies, a string quartet or solo pianist, acoustic duo/trio - whatever it takes to make your event special and successful, we have the right resources. We travel up to 6 hours from Atlanta. Anything beyond 6 hours is negotiable.
We hired KP and The Classics for an outdoor, corporate, St. Patrick's Day party and they were awesome! They're very talented performers that played fun music - it really added to the party's vibe and got everyone dancing! They were also very easy to work with - I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.
Our 50th class reunion was a huge success mainly because Kenny Parks and the Classics delivered! Prior to the event, Kenny personally contacted me several times to ask for suggestions for the set list, etc.. He wanted to make sure we were pleased. Everybody commented on how much they enjoyed the night. The dance floor was never empty. The female vocalist and other band members kept the energy at a high level. It was quite a night! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

When working with KP and The Classics you can expect a punctual, well-rehearsed band that arrives well in advance to set up and test stage equipment to ensure a great performance and entertainment experience for all in attendance. The core of the band has been together for 4 years pays close attention to detail for each performance. You can expect a tight show that includes medleys of popular hits, well dressed performers and state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment. (The medleys are another indication of regular rehearsals; unlike a lot of cover bands today that have constant lineup changes and throw songs together at the last minute).
Event planners and clients are welcome to contact the band directly during the event's planning stages. Special songs and planning requests are worked out well in advance. Volume control is not an issue with KP and The Classics; you will actually be able to have table conversations during the dinner set or cocktail hour. Later on, when you're ready to "crank it up" for some dance floor action, you won't be disappointed. Performances start on time and if breaks are to be included, the band will provide recorded music. Break times are short and kept to a minimum unless otherwise specified by the client and/or event planner.
