I am an actively performing violinist in the Boston and Denver, CO areas who is available to play for solo bookings, chamber music and quartet gigs, substitute orchestra positions and recordings. I am currently a student at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and am in my fourth year of undergraduate study. Most of my training has been classical, but am comfortable playing all genres of music!

Price Range: $150 and up
Lauren Oeser grew up in the small mountain town of Evergreen Colorado, where she began learning the violin at age nine with her first private teacher, Barb Casanova. As a young music student, she primarily enjoyed orchestral playing and regularly participated in her school’s orchestra program (as concertmaster) and the Jefferson County All-County Honor Orchestra. She joined the Denver Young Artists Conservatory Orchestra in 2016 and then the Young Artists Orchestra in 2019. Lauren began studying with Colorado Symphony and Ivy Street Ensemble-member Erik Peterson in 2017 after joining DYAO. She then participated in the Colorado All-State Symphony Orchestra for three years in a row (scoring assistant principal second violin in 2020), the Western States Honor Orchestra, and performed with her community orchestra, the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra. Lauren participated in her local Solo and Ensemble festivals yearly, receiving Superior scores each year. In 2019, she competed in the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra’s Young Artist Solo Competition, winning second prize with the first movement of the Bruch Violin Concerto. She also joined Solisti Rossi, a chamber orchestra ensemble founded by Erik Peterson, where she performed as a soloist and in various chamber ensemble settings. Lauren is a rising senior at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she is pursuing her B.M. in violin performance under renowned Professor Lynn Chang and is currently a member of the Boston Conservatory Conductor’s Orchestra.
Lauren greatly enjoys playing chamber music and attended Rocky Ridge Music in 2015, which is where her love for chamber music began and blossomed thereafter. She has continued attending summer festivals featuring chamber music, such as the Marrowstone Music Festival, the Meadowmount School of Music, and the Harvard Five Sparks Chamber Festival, and participates in chamber music at the Boston Conservatory.
Aside from regularly performing as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, Lauren likes to hike and ski, spend time with her loved ones, and explore new places.
