High energy Hip-Hop show. Witty lyrics with explicit language unless restrictions are expressed prior to show.
As a solo emcee, LDorado Jonez is as versatile as the weather in the Windy City. His delivery can go from smooth and melodic to rapid-fire and aggressive. He describes his sound as Midwest Rider Music. It’s a funky blend of genres, somewhere between acid soul and hardcore Street-Hop. LDorado delivers lyrics that are witty and visual yet at the same time socially critical; tackling subjects ranging from surviving a problematic birth to police brutality. His self-described “medicine in the candy” approach to song writing is a literal and lyrical balancing act , providing both what his audience wants and needs to hear. Some of his influences include Outkast, Bone Thugs-In-Harmony, and Curtis Mayfield.
On his path to becoming a household name, LDorado Jonez plans to continue providing thought provoking lyrics, high powered grooves, and undeniable anthems that resonate from the corner store to the corner office.
