I am an Officiant and DJ who believes in the perfect KIS to make your life easier: Keep It Simple
I love to customize everything. Whether I'm officiating or playing music, everything is customized so it screams YOU. I custom write every ceremony and love to find ways to include children, introduce blended families, flow the ceremony to include your favorite song or a poem, and more. I believe that you should be able to have the ceremony that you have been dreaming of, no matter what is in your budget. I will work with you!
I must know how long the services you need for music will be needed to give you a proper quote. Officiating is $200 plus travel. I DO accept non-wedding jobs for DJing.
Price Range: $200-500
Gig Length: 15 - 60 minutes
Languages: English
We will need to have personal discussions so I can write your ceremony. I custom-write every single ceremony. We can contact each other through your choice of methods. Here are my most common methods:
Phone
Email
Facebook
ZOOM
In-Person meeting: I will travel to you on an agreed-upon date.
There is absolutely no limit to how many times I will write and re-write your ceremony to make it perfect for you.
DJ services: We will need to schedule a call or meeting to discuss your music preference. We will also meet to set any extras you may need (lighting for example). I want to guarantee I am playing the appropriate music for the event and hope you are willing to work with me on that.
I am a born and raised Mainer. I have been married for 14 years and I am a mother of seven wonderful children.
I am a professional wedding officiant, DJ, Mrs. Claus, and Trivia Master. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering in my town and helping at the Military Museum and our local library.
How did I become a Wedding officiant?
Faith I guess, there was a problem and it needed to be solved!
I became a wedding officiant 7 years ago. My sister-in-law was having a beautiful home wedding. The week of her wedding I saw in the forecast an awful storm coming. I worked on my credentials in those coming days as preparation in case something were to happen. On the day of her wedding, sure enough, there was an awful storm! Not only that, her officiant did not come to the wedding (most likely due to the storm) or return any phone calls!! Instead of it being a stressful time, I was ready! I brought out my prepared binder and we were ready to go! She was married without any hesitation and out came a wonderful career that I feel lucky to have!!!
I am able to perform weddings statewide and I custom-write every ceremony.
My rates depend on how much time you need. While my DJ rate will vary due to time commitments, my officiant rate starts at $200, not including travel fees that could occur based on location. My DJ rate depends on how much time is needed. I welcome non-wedding requests for DJing.
I have many ways to include children and family and enjoy customizing the perfect ceremony. I greatly enjoy including children and pets :).
I am available for last-minute ceremonies, in-house ceremonies, eloping, and more.
My rates are reasonable because I believe everyone should be able to marry whom they truly love. I believe that you should be able to have the ceremony you dream of no matter what is in your budget. I will work with you and give you the ceremony you want.
About my background:
I became a professional event planner in 2009 shortly after I had my first child. I ran a very small event planning business in California and I moved it to Maine in 2012. Shortly after having a third child, I decided to scale down my planning business and after I had my fourth child I decided to go to Wedding Officiating full time, finish my schooling education, and no longer plan events. I took my training and certifications in December of 2016 and became a professional wedding officiant certified in the state of Maine. I also have 2 bachelors of ministry degrees and a Master of Teaching Ministries.
Fo DJing: I come with my own equipment and have access to special equipment if needed.
For officiating: I can come with a PA system if needed. This is something I will need to know in advance.
