Starting with the grass roots days of Country and Rock-a-Billy to the Man In Black prison concerts, our tribute to Johnny Cash has been a stand-up hit in Branson, Missouri. This is no Broadway musical show, but an authentic recreation of the music and the man that captured the hearts of millions.
Saw in Sept during a military show in Branson, Mo. It was like listening to the real 'Man in Black'.
Things didn’t work out to see his show but I know his talent from a different way. Many years ago in an antique store in Chama, NM I walked out with a box of 33.3 LPs. One night I went thru the box deciding which to keep. You guessed it - I found a Jack Quist (now known as Jackson Cash) album "Texas Bound". We have about 3500 albums but Jack's is my favorite. He wrote and performed all the songs. In Branson, Jackson autographed the album. Thanks for that!
Jack Quist/Jackson Cash is an enormous talent. My heart breaks for him; he should be super star!
What a FAB experience to see him w/in just a few feet from me in the precious small "Egyptian Theater" in Park City, UT as a visitor for the Thanksgiving week end.
One never knows what lies ahead when going to a live performance .... OMG, HE is a great talent and the evening was just flat-arsed-perfect!
On June 15, 2012, Jackson Cash came to KLA-MO-YA Casino, located in Chiloquin, OR. and performed for our guests. Jackson was to say at least, Awesome. The guests had a great time as well as the employees on shift over seeing the concert. Not only was his singing performance outstanding, he also showed some great comedy and the tribute to our troops was fantastic. Highly recommend if you want to book a Johnny Cash tribute.
We traveled to meet my daughter and granddaughter in Archie MO at The Archie House, which is a local dance hall, steak house. When we entered there was a man up on the stage looking just like Johnny Cash. He was setting up instruments, testing microphones etc for a show that was to occur that night. As we ordered our lunch, I asked him if he would mind "practicing" alittle and singing one of my husbands favorite. When this guy, Jackson Cash began to sing it was nothing short of ASTONISHING.... He was FABULOUS and the only thing that was sad is that we couldnt stay for his show that night. Thats been a few months ago and since then we have been watching to see where he might do a show close to us and we would definitely drive to see it. If you get a chance to see this guy perform dont miss it. He also came over to our table and he was very gracious and friendly. It definitely reminded me of meeting Johnny and June back in the late 70's and how gracious and nice they were. JOHNNY CASH LIVES ON!
we were also at the concert jackson cash sang his heart out we heard this same story how his friends were in the audience..he pulled them on stage only exception was hed been knowing them for awhile.. afterwards jackson was taking the extra mile with his friends and putting other fans second...hmmm well however that story happen isnt what matters he sang great .. his wife added the extra life to the gig what a great team
I was at walmart in mountain view mo when a man that looked like jonny cash was in line behind me. I said without hesitation hello jonny cash how r u. He was with a beautiful lady and they both said hello back and told me of there concert in 20 min at the rec center. I told them to go a head and I would pay for there drinks. they said that was mighty nice and if i came to the show they would give me a free cd. I told them thank you and away they went. I couldnt go to the show but i showed up after the show and they remembered me and told there staff give that man whatever he wants. his wife gave me 2 free cds. on sept 12 2011 me and my whole family went to branson to see jackson cash at the branson mall where he and his new bride invited us up on stage to perform with him and take pictures. he even wore my black jonny cash jacket that i wore from my sisters store trevor trading post western jackets he made us feel so welcome. I just want to say thank you to jackson cash for being so nice to me and my family from mass and mo, and california
It probably sounds like a broken record but the guy really pours heart and soul into his work-it's inspiring and oh so great for the spectators-we get a real intimate look at "johnny cash" - who many of us never had a chance to see in real life. The mantra of the crowds is "he deserves more." This may be true but i believe he likes the intimate setting as well by virtue of how well he interacts w/ the crowds. I would love to see him at the caravelle, with a band, and june carter( a performance i missed ) but he's equally great solo -whatever venue -you can best believe he displays the spirit of 2 great performers -johnny cash through the artistic rendering of jack quist.
My wife & I went to the Wal-Mart to get a few things for our vac. we walked into the center of the Mall just outside the Wal-Mart as I wanted to find out where they were playing Johnny Cash music. Was I ever surprised when I discovered a singer on stage that looked & sounded exactly like Johnny Cash. We went back every day for every performance (he performs everyday at 2 & 4pm) and purchased 2 of his CD’s. He was very good & a very kind person to all there & said he’d give you a CD if you couldn’t afford to buy them.
We were in Branson two years ago, and Jackson Cash's show at the Branson Mall was the best show in town, in our opinion. I am shocked that he is still doing free afternoon shows at the Mall, and not on one of those stages. Great for everyone who hears him, but come on. He deserves better.
He nails it! If you could fatten him up he'd look like him too! Very very nice man. He was as personable to the 80 year old veterans as he was to my young son. We saw him really by accident--just a little strip mall. Can't believe he's singing in a little mall in Branson MO. He was better than the $75/ticket shows that are in Branson.
Saw Him @ Piper Down Pub in Salt Lake on a last minute decision to go. Never heard of him before. Unbelievable talent. My bud and I thought it was the second coming of Johnny Cash. He is SOOO good it's hard to fathom. 2hr show and I copuldn't go to the bathroom because I didn't want to miss one second. Can't figure out why he's not on Leno/Conan/good morning America and the rest of the talk show circuit. Will go to ANY show he puts on withing 300 miles of my house...But he needs better marketing/advertisement!!!!

I live in Cabot, Arkansas. I was in Branson, Mo and happened to catch Jackson Cash inside the Branson Mall. WOW! What a performer. I have seen a lot of shows in Branson and paid a lot of money to see them. But this is one guy I would pay to see. Lucky for me it was a free show inside the mall. I went back for the second show. I went back to Branson two weeks later and the first thing I did was went to the Branson Mall and there he was again. Again I made sure to see all of his shows.
This time my mom was with me and she could not get enough of him. Even had her picture made with him and got a kiss on the cheek. I will make sure that I keep up with him and see him whenever I can.
My husband and I were on vacation in Branson. We went to the Brqanson Mall and heard Jackson Cash. We are true Johnny Cash fans and what all the people have said in their comments is true! If you close your eyes, you'd swear it was Johnny Cash! Then when you open your eyes you see that Jackson Cash has all the mannerisims and moves down as well. We really enjoyed the concert. He is awesome!
OMG What a performer, as others have said, if you close your eyes, you think it's Johnny himself. What a true performer and kind person, honors the vets during his show and will give his cd's away if folks don't have the money. His actions and his stage presence is remarkable. The shows at the Branson Mall are free (donate if you like), but I would pay real money to see his show.
we listened to his CD all the way back to Dallas.
I loved the show!!!! He sounded just like Johnny. He puts on a good show and was very friendly afterwards. Would pay to see him again!
Me, my husband, and my 9 year old son saw Mr. Cash today at the Branson Mall and it was great. My son is a die hard Johnny Cash fan and said "Mom, this is as close as I will get to a real Johnny Cash concert." If you are ever around the area try to catch a show. Great job!!!
I thought Jackson Cash was wonderful!!! He was in the Branson Mall, and we listened to him play guitar and sing and he was excellent!! I would highly recomend that anyone go see him play and sing. He's definitley got the voice of Johnny Cash. I wish him all the best in his career. Thanks for the autographed CD, I love it and so do my grandsons!!
Me and my family was in Branson on vacation when we walked into the Branson Mall and happened to be in there when Jackson Cash started his show, he was AMAZING. I am a Johnny Cash fan and when I CLOSED MY EYE'S YOU COULD NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE. Also Jackson was selling C.D.'s and told everyone in the place if they could not afford one he would give them one. That's a true gent...
I was on vacation in Branson. I had taken my family to the local Walmart for some things they had forgotten. Walmart is connected to the Branson Mall where they hold free concert throughout the day. I was close to the entrance when I heard this voice and thought wait a minute. Jackson is as close to the real things as anyone will ever get! From his voice right down to his body motions. Awesone performance. We cane back the next day and sat for both his shows. We also bought all his cd's. If you get a chance to see his show you won't be disappointed.
I recently moved to forsyth,mo. my mom took me to the branson mall in branson,mo. I was there to get my nails done and as we were walking through the mall i heard a friendly kind voice that sounded just like johnny cash. now i am a huge fan at the age of 20 of johnny cash and when i looked up i saw a friendly face that looked like a young johnny cash. i ignored my mission and sat down to listen to him sing. well until the nail place called me to come in but he made me cry so much with his trucker song. it touched my heart because my grandfather is a trucker. thank you jackson cash, you are a true inspiration. JACKSON CASH IS A MUST SEE!!!! *kisses* *and friendly hugs* to you Jackson. ^.^ psst my mom was the young woman who handed you the money in the gift shop after your show :)
Jackson Cash is the real deal he makes goose bumps go up your spine. Johnny is smiling down. I can't listen to his CD's enough I listen at home and at work. He is so polite and respectful of Johnny Cash and His family. If you get a chance to see Jackson Cash DON'T MISS IT he's unbelievable. Thanks Jackson your friend Tom.
Mr Cash is an awesome entertainer. He brings Johnny cash back to life it is amazing. He should be a famous star himself!
I happened to be bar hopping in Magna, a out of the way suburb of SLC UT. when i ducked into a biker bar. I heard Johnny Cash and thought they at least had good taste in what they played over their PA. Walked up and noticed it wasn't the radio, it was Jackson Cash, I stayed in this bar for the whole set and it was a great performance. 5 out of 5 stars easily!

I was walking through Wal-Mart in the Branson Mall when I heard Folsum Prison playing in the Main Lobby. As I entered the Lobby, I was treated to the best Johnny Cash Tribute Concert I have had the pleasure of witnessing. I am from South Arkansas and I live 15 miles from Johnny Cash's Birthplace of Kingsland Arkansas, so I have been to several Johnny Cash Tribute concerts. This was the best I have ever seen. It was a treat and a pleasure. If you are vacationing in Branson, Jackson Cash's show is a must see. You won't regret it.
happen to come accross this act while on vacation in branson mo. This is the best preformance I have ever seen. Could not get enough of it. Words can't describe how good this man is. Truley a genuine heart and very kind person. If you ever get a chance to hear him don't pass it by. WOW and double WOW
Heard the voice that would become Jackson Cash! Can sound like Willy Nelson, Hank Williams and Hank Ritter. His own album "WHERE DOES LOVE GO" is a classic with inuendos of the full depth of many styles of Country. His voice casts a multiplex of tonal qualities gained by journering a long road and tough crowds, the least of which was Bryce, Utah. His latest creation is a voice with empathy and depth that brings Johnny Cash "In your face".
My wife and I were passing through Branson in October of 2009, and spent the night. We walked over to Wal-Mart to do some shopping and there we found the best part of our trip.
Of the week we spent on our road trip, the Jackson Cash Show was the high light of the week. We bought all his CD’s and I still watch him on YouTube.
He’s a great personality. If you have not seen him, check him out on the web.
I wish him the very best.
What a wonderful show, he is unbelievable. I would see him again in a minute. I'm so glad I was in Walmart and his picture was up in the hallway there. He is outstanding, just couldn't ask for a better show. I bought all three of his CD's and got a free poster (this one picuted).
I was in Branson,Mo. perfoming in BRANSON HAYRIDE TEDDY SADLER AND THE RANGE RIDERS. JACKSON CASH joined us for two songs and we had the best time performing together! He is a very, very, talented artist! It was an honor to play music with him! If you can,go see his show! Joey Bowman drummer for BRANSON HAYRIDE!
SHOW WAS GREAT. WE LOVED IT. HE INVITED MY 9 AND 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER ON STAGE WITH HIM FOR A SONG AND THEY WERE THRILLED. THEY LOVE JOHNNY CASH MUSIC AND ARE TAKING GUITAR LESSONS AND WERE WANTING TO PLAY JOHNNY CASH SO WE THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A GOOD SHOW FOR THEM TO GET AN IDEA OF MORE OF THE MUSIC IN PERSON. HE WAS GREAT WITH THE KIDS AND WE ALL LOVED IT. WISH THERE WAS MORE ADVERTISING. HAD A LOT OF FRIENDS THAT SAID THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT OR THEY WOULD HAVE GONE.
We thoroughly enjoyed the show. Jackson sounds so much like Johnny Cash. I loved his original songs too. I bought one of his CDs and my husband was wishing I had bought more, especially the one with the Bury me at Wal Mart song on it. It could have been advertised more. I saw a short story in the newspaper was the only way I knew he was playing. So glad I saw it and him.
I had the opportunity to see this show in Creston Iowa on 02/20/2010. It was excellent. The only suggestion I have is MORE advertising. It was not seen in the paper or heard on the radio. ALOT of people didn't know it was even here until after it was over. There could have been many many more people attend this awesome event.

Jackson Cash has been headlining a Tribute to the "Man In Black - Johnny Cash" in Branson, MO for the (phone number hidden)9 season at the Caravelle Theatre.
You will be astounded by the uncanny resemblance that Jackson has to Johnny Cash. You will be even more astounded by his voice. Jackson truly captures the presence of Johnny Cash, not only through Johnny's music but also his storytelling. From the moment Jackson and the New Tennessee Two Band takes the stage with a traditional Johnny Cash greeting to his exit, with guitar slung over his back, Jackson offers an exceptional portrayal of Johnny Cash.
Johnny Cash chose only to work with one band and depended upon them to provide him with the unique sound that would come to be recognized by millions of fans over the world. Luther Perkins provided the unique "boom-chicka-boom" guitar that classifies most of Johnny's songs, W.S. Holland holds his own place in music history as the first Rock & Roll drummer while Marshall Grant slapped the upright bass. This is all recreated for this tribute and the music of The New Tennessee Two is as important to the sound and successes of Jackson Cash as his own voice.
