Party Cannon is proof that there is life in Illinois after dark. Real, scientific proof: with beer-to-dancing ratios and 1,000s of confirmed sightings (unfortunately, all witnesses have been inebriated or been struck with Dancing Fever, and have thus proved unreliable.) The elusive Party Cannon has been observed to migrate to a local watering hole where they nest for a brief 4 hours. During this time, elaborate mating dances are set to the tune of popular Rock and Pop songs. One may observe the colorful display of lights and feather boas, the barrage of sounds and images that are dizzying to the mind, the inexorable pulse and throb of the beats. Oh no, dear weekend warriors, the Party Cannon is most certainly alive and kicking. They may have even taken over a watering hole in your town. Should you hear of a Party Cannon infestation, hide your kids and hide your wife… because they be rocking everybody all up in here.
Party Cannon stems from the Latin Parterus, meaning "to enjoy oneself in a bacchanalian reverie," and Cannus, meaning "hot and slippery groovy rhythm." The Party Cannon tribe consists of six of the most beautiful culminations of evolution (biological and societal) that the world has ever seen. A night spent in the company of the Cannon cannot be describes as anything other than sublime, a consummate experience of synesthetic experiences, or simply, "A pretty good Friday night." But beware, to touch the Cannon is to touch greatness, to feel the fabric of creation, to dance with the seraphim, to weave the sub-atomic stardust of the cosmos. Are you intrigued? Curious even? Well then, gentle reader, the only way to experience Party Cannon for yourself is to attend one of their shows.
