- Technology!! I do not read the music from traditional paper sheet music. I am a “paperless musician”, one of the very few performers in the world who uses the newest technology: I carry my entire library in a state of the art tablet PC, and turn pages wirelessly with my foot (this way I will not interrupt the flow of the playing to turn pages). Just with a finger touch I can satisfy spontaneous requests during the event, in or out of the program. I do not need special light on the piano to read, and even do not need an electrical outlet.
- Written Programs Like A Concert In A Theatre. I prepare an elegant display with the program, and make available individual copies for those guests who want to follow my interpretations. My customers can choose the stationery from my stock, to match the colors of the event. There is no extra charge for it, it is always included in my services.
- All Live, No Tricks. I play acoustic (“unplugged”, “unwired”) music, so even when I play a digital piano or keyboard, I do NOT use pre-recorded or backing tracks / chords. All what is heard is played and created by my fingers at the moment.
- Complete Customization Of The Program. You choose the entire list of songs for me to perform, or I will select the program for you, following your directions and dreams.
- Full-time Dedication. I am 100% dedicated to piano performance. When you book me I concentrate all my attention on your event. This is not a side job for me, I do not even teach music. Piano performing is my passion and what I do for a living.
- The Ability To Communicate With Guests / Customers In Other Languages. I am English-Spanish bilingual, and can communicate also in Italian, Portuguese and French.
- Availability Of My Schedule. Since performing solo piano is my “full-time” job, I can accept commitments for any day of the week, at any time.
- No Breaks During My Performance. I do not need or take the “15 minute” break periods, as is typical of most of musicians and bands. I start… and do not stop. For performances up to 3 hours I will not stop unless requested. And for a 4 hour performance I may only need a 5 minute break in the middle. That is because I love what I do, have amazing endurance, and respect my audience, knowing that my customer hired me to play the piano and entertain the guests… during the entire event.
- Live Audition Just For You. Choose a couple of songs from my repertoire and I will make a video just for you playing these songs at my grand piano, and you will be able to watch it in your computer.
- Performance Agreement. I will provide it, signed by both parties that will give my customers peace of mind about the commitment and the money invested in the sounds of their dreams.
- Passion For The Music. You will notice that when you hear me…
- Elegant And Sophisticated Presentation. I will follow the dress-code of the event, and even match the colors of the event with my attire if you want (I have a large selection of gala dresses).

- Punctuality And Reliability. I have never had to cancel a commitment, and have never been late.

After being a professional in the business world (I am a CPA and a former Bank manager and University Professor of Economic Sciences), I have developed an ability to interact and socialize with people of all levels. About
Claudia Sanchez, the Passionate Pianist, was born in Argentina, where she has lived until 2002, when she married her American husband, who brought her to live in the U.S.A., first in the Tampa Bay area , FL. They moved to Pennsylvania in 2007.
Claudia started studying in the Conservatory at the age of 6 years old, and graduated with the highest honors and was awarded at the age of 13 years old with the title of Superior Professor of Piano. She performed for the first time at 7 years old at a Concert for advanced students in her native city in Argentina.
During her childhood she performed numerous times in presentations sponsored by the Conservatory, as well as in the celebrations of her Primary and High School, where she was the one who was called to play the patriotic songs needed for special occasions.
Although she was classically taught and trained, she was nourished with the passion that only the Argentinian Tango can transmit, and extended such a passion to perform to her whole repertory, which covers almost all the musical genres.
She graduated as a Certified Public Accountant, worked as bank manager and as a University Professor of Economic Sciences. While this was her "day job", she always had her "Professional Hobby" of playing the piano in private parties, corporate events and friend's celebrations. Her close relations with the business world opened her to opportunities to meet people who hired her as a pianist for their events.
When she came to live in the USA, she was still a Professor in Economic Sciences, but over the time she exchanged definitively her former "hobby" of a solo pianist to be her career, making Economics her hobby during her spare time. Nowadays she is a full time solo Piano performer. She has played in the finest venues in Pittsburgh area, as well as in OH, WV, MD, VA, DC and NY, overseas and on Live TV in the USA. She has been the exclusive Pittsburgh International Airport pianist for five years ((phone number hidden)3), and has performed regularly for lunch time at the Atrium of the One Oxford Centre in downtown Pittsburgh from 2010 to 2016.
Her international repertory of about 2,700+ songs covers practically all the musical genres: Jazz, Pop, Classical, American Standards, New Age, Neo-Classical, Soundtracks (Hollywood and Broadway), music of the decades, Christmas and Holiday, Wedding, Country, Italian, French, Spanish, Romantic Latin, Irish, Patriotic, Traditional tunes, and of course, Tango and Argentinian Folklore. She also has special thematic programs such as tributes to Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Beatles and Secret Garden, Love songs, Disney Songs, among others (Yanni, Kenny G, Clayderman, Elton John, Bees Gees, Billy Joel, Scot Joplin, Cole Porter, Queen, Vangelis).
Claudia is a “paperless” musician, one of the very few performers in the world who uses the newest technology: she carries her entire library in a tablet PC, and with just a finger touch she is able to play any spontaneous request. Also she turns pages wirelessly with her foot with a special device. She does not use pre-recorded or backing tracks (even if she plays at a digital keyboard). All what you hear is played and created by her at the moment.
She customizes every single performance, and the customers have the priority and joy to select each song for the program.

Claudia's easy listening, cocktail style piano will make any special occasion more delightful, adding a touch of sophistication and creating a beautiful ambience as well as a warm and relaxed atmosphere for dinners and receptions.
Performing as your guests are arriving, she will set the mood and command focus while you are busy behind the scenes.
She will play in your piano or hers, since Claudia can set up her portable one for you.
The ideal occasions for her to perform are:
- cocktail piano for settings where ambient music is all that's needed;

Influences & Inspiration
Classically trained, being Bach, Beethoven and Mozart her most beloved classical composers, she has been also influenced by world class pop piano performers like Richard Clayderman, Raul Di Blasio and Yanni. Raised in the Argentinian Tango land, she performs all her repertoire with the passion and feeling that can only come from one who has tango music in her blood.

We were looking for a Pianist in Monroeville (PA). We hired her. Claudia is amazing, wonderful, unique! She is so professional, friendly, elegant and provided the most beautiful background piano music you can imagine. She is the best in every sense! I am speechless! I give her the highest recommendation possible. When you have to choose the pianist for your event, do not tray to save a few dollars hiring someone just because of a low rate. Choose quality (besides, Claudia has very reasonable rates for what she offers). Nobody can compare with the Passionate Pianist!

So believe me, I make this statement without any doubt: Claudia, the Passionate Pianist, is the best of all whom I have known. She has no comparison in this field. We were looking for a background pianist for our Anniversary party in Indiana (PA). We have to say: She is the best! Fantastic, terrific! We hired her in an "emergency". The pianist we hired... canceled 2 days before the party! When we decided to hire the Passionate Pianist we thought her price was too much for our budget, but since we didn't have more choices, we went ahead. WOW... what a surprise! We would pay her twice or more the next time, we will save on other items for a party, but we will have Claudia as the background pianist! You have no idea how important is to have this wonderful pianist that creates a warm and relaxed atmosphere. It is the perfect touch that makes your party just perfect.
