Peppi offers a variety of options for your consideration, from a full blown comedy show for your church event, with a brief word of inspiration at the end; to coming as keynote speaker for your weekend (or week long) women's conference. It's always fun to kick off a weekend with a comedy show to relax your guests after a day's travel, and get them interacting with those around them. For additional sessions, you may choose for Peppi to bring her testimony of freedom from the bondage of fear to a joy that is so real, it resulted in this call to a ministry of comedy. Peppi was the attention deficit, hyper-active germaphobe, middle child of a Baptist preacher. But that's not all. She was also raised on a drug rehab. Yeah, you didn't know what to do with that one, did you? While still a young child, her parents became the founders of a Christian alcohol and drug in-house mission rehab. So that means Peppi grew up right there on the same property with the clients. As if that environment wasn't enough to make her turn out a little bit "funny", it's like they asked, "what can we do to ensure she'll never ever turn out normal", and they named her "Peppi". And when you're named after a cartoon skunk....
IT STINKS!

Peppi is a stand-up comedian, women's conference speaker, writer, story teller, jokester, emcee, wife, mom of two young adult sons, "LOLly" to her only grandchild (you see what she did there?), and owner of one spastic dog, "Oreo" (who still doesn't laugh at any of her jokes). But mostly, she is a lover of Jesus Christ, the One Who gave her life purpose. Whoever knew it could be this much FUN?

Much of Peppi's material comes from her antics as a "technicolored daughter", as her daddy described her. Having ADHD has landed Peppi in some comical (and embarrassing) situations, and continues to do so, even as an adult. That just means she will never run out of fresh material. She uses the sometimes painful and embarrassing circumstances of her life, and finds that hilarious twist, enabling her to share the message that, no matter how messed up you may be, each person's life has an eternal value and purpose. It's a message of hope, encouragement and grace.

Peppi has been heard as twice-weekly host of the radio comedy segment, Laugh a Little, airing on KSJ, K99Country and WWZD, as well as all around the world on iHeart Radio and SiriusXM. She is a member of the Christian Comedy Association. The Christian Comedy Association is a nationwide association of Christians committed to offering faith affirming truth through the craft of comedy.

Peppi's shows run anywhere from 30 to 75 minutes, based on what is needed for each event. Thank you for your interest and consideration in having Peppi bring comedy for your event. Booking a comedian is somewhat different than booking a musician or speaker. But the results can be so enjoyable for the audience, and rewarding for you, the coordinator. It is our hope that this information will not only help to make it as easy on you as possible, but to get the audience ready to laugh, so they don't have to be awakened from a coma with Peppi's first joke.

In a nutshell, all that is necessary for a spectacular comedy show are the following:
1) Well-planned and early (and often) advertisement primes the audience long before the show date ever arrives. Get them pumped up that "A COMEDIAN IS COMING!"
2) Make the show distraction-free (Ages 7 & up, serve meal prior to or after show, close down any other activity in the room such as silent auction, craft sales, unplug noisy vending machines, indoor shows only, etc.)
3) Make the comedian easy to see and hear by all (sufficient sound system, adequate lighting that doesn't cast weird shadows on comedian's face, etc.)

All Peppi requires is :

1) Two (2) microphones, one is for Peppi's ukulele, or you may provide a 1/4 adapter for her cord. If cordless mics, fresh batteries are a must.
2) Two (2) mic stands that allow for the mics to be placed into and out them of easily
3) A bar stool with a hard seat, for Peppi's water bottle, and a small prop box
4) Two (2) room temperature bottles of water
5) Someone to operate sound system during the show
6) A large screen with DVD projector & laptop (or computer) allows Peppi to bring some really funny additional media on her USB jump drive. But it is not necessary. She has plenty of material without it. Please let her know if you have this capability.
7) If over 300 people, projecting comedian onto the large screen allows everyone to be able to see better.
8) If a meal is served before or following the event, please provide one for Peppi and her traveling companion also.
