I organized my company's first annual party. I wanted a lively event where everyone would NOT be sitting in their chair around a table all night, so I decided to go with live music. I had never booked a band before so I wasn't sure where to start. I read many many reviews, watched youtube videos, checked out set lists and emailed with several managers. I landed on Petty Thieves and have zero regrets. Bryan was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. They made their AV equipment available to us for announcements and a photo slideshow -- they played requests, everything from Bruno Mars to Bon Jovi to Green Day to Kings of Leon to Stevie Wonder to Blink 182 to Daft Punk! I mean seriously -- it was AMAZING the range they played. The dance floor was full and everyone raved about the music. I would highly recommend Petty Thieves!

Response from Petty Thieves:
Thank you for the great review Holly! We had such a great time at your beautiful Corporate Gala event! You have a very fun team and we enjoyed every minute of the event as well! Bryan
We are so happy we hired Petty Thieves for our wedding. They are talented musicians and a lot of fun! Bryan was so responsive all along the way. We were so happy with the songs they played and their willingness to learn some new songs for us. Bryan handled our end of ceremony music and our grand march and cocktail hour/dinner music-it was all exactly as requested. We were thrilled with them and give them our highest recommendation.

Response from Petty Thieves:
Thank you Maggie and Ben for your prompt review!! We very much appreciate that you selected us for your special day and is was extremely fun to be a part of it! The venue was absolutely beautiful! We wish you the best future together and hope to see you out sometime soon!
Without a doubt, this is the absolute best band you could possibly hire for your wedding or event. Our dance floor was packed the entire night up to the very last song, in fact the group literally begged for an encore because no one was ready for the night to end! Bryan was awesome to work with from the initial point of contact, the entire group is very talented, and you could just tell they are great people who love what they do. Can only go very, VERY right with Petty Thieves.
Wedding Band
Absolutely phenomenal band…and then some!!!! I am so pleased with this band and would hire them to perform again in a ‘heartbeat’. Petty Thieves, they made my “FISH BOIL” with family and friends a HUGE success….from song one we danced the night away…both YOUNG and OLD. They became ‘family’ and we felt part of the band…..great interaction with our guests. Their talent, sound, and energy were intoxicating and fun! Thank you so much for making my Fish Boil “garden party” a HUGE Success! You most certainly will be getting future bookings from us….as well as from those who attended. Nothing but PRAISE!

Hiring Petty Thieves was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception. Bryan was so easy to work with leading up to the big day, and the whole group was incredibly accommodating when we had to change venues just a few months out. They ROCKED our reception - from the visual effects to the great mix of songs, they kept the dance floor full all night (and then some with an encore!). They even learned a couple of songs for us, including one that’s been a family wedding tradition for years.
We could not be happier with how the reception turned out, largely due to Petty Thieves. Can’t recommend them enough!

Thank you Kim! It was great to be a part of your companies retirement celebration!!
We hosted an employee appreciation event, where the youngest was 18 and the oldest was 83. Petty Thieves' playlist was outstanding! Everyone, seriously everyone, commented on how great the music was and how much it added to our event. And right from the beginning, Petty Thieves was so easy to work with. Wouldn't hesitate to bring them back!

We hired Petty Thieves for our wedding and we couldn't be happier! Bryan was so great to work with - always kind and helpful over our planning phone calls and very responsive via email. They were willing to learn new songs for our first dance, and were open to all the suggestions our guests sent in ahead of time. Everyone had so much fun...the dance floor was full the ENTIRE night.
As a side note, Bryan was also able to provide the DJ and microphone services needed for the ceremony and dinner. It was so nice that he was able to help with this as well! Highly recommend!

We loved the Petty Thieves. Absolutely loved them. Super kind and courteous, phenomenal musicians, and they played the best selection of music that we could have asked for. We adored having them play at our wedding and would hire them again if we could. These folks are fantastic and we were honored to have them there. -Elysse and Crague Cook
Wedding Band
Petty Thieves was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. After watching a few of the videos on their website and speaking with Bryan, we knew immediately that we had to book them. We originally worked with Bryan just for the reception but he was so understanding with our schedule since we were planning the wedding while deployed we ended up having them do our ceremony too! Our dance floor was packed all night and we heard every song that we requested many of which they learned for us!. Our guests are still talking about how awesome the band was and how much fun they had, Book Petty Thieves! You will not be disappointed!!

We hired Petty Thieves for our wedding reception, and we were very glad we did! Bryan is great to communicate with, and as a whole, the band is very organized, talented, and professional (but fun)! They were willing to work with us to stay in our budget but still be able to offer everything we hoped for. I think this speaks volumes on what they're all about--at the end of the day, these guys just love to play music and entertain a crowd. We felt their performance and songs were very personalized which helped make our reception unique and special to us. Bryan is a great MC too. Our guests danced all night and we received so many compliments on them by the time it was over. We're so glad we hired them.
Wedding Band
We hired Petty Thieves to play at our wedding reception (private residence/ barn) and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made! The energy was great and everyone gladly danced the night away. My husband was even trying to pay the band to play longer when they were done at the end of the night because everyone was having so much fun! The band members are extremely talented, have great chemistry and can play a large variety of music. They learned some songs just for us and killed them all! Two of the members also played acoustically at the ceremony, which was outdoors at a county park. The only song I heard there was when I was coming down the aisle, but it is perfectly recorded in my mind forever.
Bryan was awesome to work with. We had a pretty non-traditional wedding and he was flexible, accommodating and had really good communication throughout the entire planning process. I had no problems and all good things to say about this guy on a professional level. If you are thinking about hiring a live band for your wedding, or any party for that matter, seriously consider these guys. Your guests will have a fantastic time unless they are fuddy duddys no matter what.

We hired them for our company party. They were a lot of fun. They played some nice quiet music while people ate and then they switched to some up beat stuff and got some of the people dancing. It helped make it a party. We will probably hire them again next year.

Though we saw them and hired them through Gigsalad, we knew them through seeing them locally. They play around Lake Geneva a lot and we'd seen them at Venetian Festival, Champs and Chucks. We were looking to have a band that could play music that both older and younger people would like and a band that would engage people to get up and dance. We went with the Petty Thieves because we'd seen how they helped inspire a party atmosphere and got people on their feet. We had an outside reception at a relatives house. Bryan, the band leader, helped us organize the flow of the reception and helped with announcements and emceeing. The music was great. Lots of danceable classic songs that everyone could relate to. They had most of my family dancing, even my parents, which is a minor miracle. I had also asked for them to learn a certain song for us. Bryan said that they would do their best and they did end up doing a great job on it. They set up early and also provided a microphone and speaker for the ceremony which was very helpful. They were the perfect volume. Loud and clear on the dance floor, but quiet enough by the tables where the older relatives wanted to talk. We were looking for our reception to be a an upbeat party that would be remembered. Having a good band made the difference.
