POP is an established Author, Poet, Music Producer, Song Writer and Composer. Known as the Poet Of Peace, born Lawrence Charles Rutherford II in Anchorage, Alaska; came to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 12. Nicknamed POP as a young child because of his old man soul. In 1999, he prayed asking God to bless him with a gift to share the Gospel and soon after he picked up a pen and began writing poetry. Someone later signed a picture with the words Poet of Peace and handed it to him, which made his nickname stand for something more. POP released his first book “Planting Seeds for the Lost and Found” in 2013 it’s an inspirational book of poems including artwork and scriptures to minister to the Lost and Found. In every work from POP, he works to ensure the message of God’s word doesn’t get lost in translation but that it shines in everything he produces.
