Reptile Adventure

Are you tired of the same old thing for birthday entertainment options for your children? Dont want another Chuck E. Cheese or McDonalds experience? Call us, and for the same price or less, we will come to you to entertain, educate, and facinate the children for you! Oh, and by the way, this is not just for boys anymore! I was shocked by how many parents of girls called me this past year because their child was so in love with animals, and reptiles!

Myself and possibly a member of my family will come to your home for a private "birthday" presentation for your child and the guests. For about and hour, we will show 15 different types of reptiles, from small to HUGE for entertainment and (link hidden)e birthday child and the family may take pictures with our giant 9 foot long albino Burmese Phython! Parents get great pictures taking opportunities too! We offer goody bags and extras for your child as well.

We have also been to many, many local schools and daycare centers to entertain the children in the same way. Additionally, we have formed a live exhibit for the Richmond Children's Museum and several other local school districts.
Other sites may have the same type of entertainment, but they are not local so you will end up paying much more!

My son and husband started the expensive hobby of collecting unique reptiles, and lots of them! This business is to provide the opportunity for children and parents to be educated, facinated, and entertained by these wonderful animals. We live in Chesterfield County, but I am willing to travel up to 200 miles outside of the Richmond area. The business income provides us with the money needed to take care of the over 50 reptiles that we own, so we dont overcharge.
For a very reasonable fee, we will come to your location with about 15 reptiles ranging from very small to HUGE. Each animal will be in their own personal container, so its a surprise when we bring it out. We will then take each animal to each child to touch and see up close while the children learn unique tidbits of information about each one. The birthday child and the families have wonderful picture taking opportunites throughout the presentation. At the end, they will also get the opportunity to hold our 9 foot long albino Burmese Phython for a family portrait! We also have goody bags available if you need them. We will be there for a little over an hour including picture time. The children usually ask alot of questions about the animals if they are in school. We have presented these animals to as young as two, and then we actually had a child's 80 year old grandmother take a picture with our Phython even though she had been afraid of snakes all of her life! Its wonderful to be able to educate about snakes and lizards, and at the same time calm some fears too. I always make sure to point out the difference between "pet" reptiles and "wild" reptiles.I teach them that a snake outside in the woods will not react the same way that my pet snakes do. I also show a huge lizard over 4 ft in length!

We only need as much space as your children do. I mean that, we bring in several large plastic bins, and maybe a couple of smaller ones. We like to have the children sit in front of us either on the floor in a half circle, or on the furniture. I usually ask for a chair to sit down while talking with the children. My partner will take each animal out of their private container, and make sure each child gets to see or touch the animal if they want to. If the temp. outside falls below 70, we cannot do an outdoor party as we could risk the health of our animals. If the temp rises above 90, then we could risk the health of the presenter! So, inside is always best.
