He arrived early and attendees really enjoyed his music. Volume was just right, not overpowering conversations but enough for folks that wanted to sing along or dance. November 21, 2023Robbie performed at our wedding this weekend, and he just made the whole event! It wouldn't have been the same without him. I love his "Eric Clapton smooth and mellow rich tone!"He worked around all of our kinks and flaws of our event and pulled with us to make a fabulous show that kept the audience entertained and interactive ! My husband and I weren't planning on dancing at our wedding but as soon as we heard Robbie we couldn't help but to dance!! He was perfect and helped make our dream fairytale wedding come true! He has a great selection of music, an excellent sound system,he plays at a level that my family still could talk to each other, and he kept a fun vibe in the air! We danced a lot and now we have a song that has memories to it. Most couples have a favorite song . We didn't until Robbie gave us a memory to tie to our song and now it will be a fav for years to come!! Robbie was phenomenal. When I perform at your event, you can expect a wide variety of tunes from almost every musical genre and decade. Because of my love for all music I have a very broad musical pallet and can comfortably cover most musical genres whether it be rock, country, folk, r&b, pop or standards.
In an evening you will hear everything from Frank Sinatra to Otis Redding and The Temptations, to Glenn Campbell, Jimmy Buffet and Blake Shelton to The Beatles and Elvis Presley to James Taylor and The Eagles. I sing and play live accompanied by great sounding custom backing tracks that sound just like the original recordings. I intersperse the "one man band" with my own acoustic arrangements as well.
Here are some great advantages to hiring me for your event:
- It's cost effective. Live bands can get expensive, but you world really like that full sound and energy
of a band. With me you get the best of both worlds.
- It's got energy, but it's not loud. Your guests can easily converse over the music. We've all been in
that situation. Recently I went to a restaurant with a live band but wanted to talk to my friends, too.
The band was great, but I lost my voice trying to talk over them (and I had a gig the next day).
- I can literally fit myself and my equipment into a small corner of a room. I'm there, but not obtrusive.
I am at your event to provide ambiance and dance music if desired. I am not there to be the center of
attention.
- My Bose sound system will easily cover a room of up to 500 guests, but it sounds just as full at low
volume.
I am a singer/songwriter, acoustic guitarist and cover artist. I co-founded my first full time band in 1971. For 10 years we traveled and performed in every venue imaginable from parks to auditoriums to festivals and recorded 4 albums. I have continued in music professionally for the last 30 years. Whether performing music for dinner and dancing at corporate events, parties or restaurants, I guarantee the highest quality and professionalism in my performance, attitude and punctuality.
I am fully self contained when I perform at your event. All you have to do is tell me where to set up and point me to the nearest electrical outlet. I use
- a Bose sound system that can easily handle a room of up to 500, yet can produce the highest quality sound at a low volume.
- a Shure SM58 mic that is also available to anyone for announcements or remarks
- a Taylor and Guild acoustic guitar
If stage room is an issue, it's not for me. Myself and equipment fit comfortably into a small space.
