Robbie was an excellent addition to our conference Closing Party. Communication was excellent from the time of booking through the event. He arrived early and attendees really enjoyed his music. Volume was just right, not overpowering conversations but enough for folks that wanted to sing along or dance. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Robbie again.

Robbie performed at our wedding this weekend, and he just made the whole event! It wouldn't have been the same without him. I love his "Eric Clapton smooth and mellow rich tone!"He worked around all of our kinks and flaws of our event and pulled with us to make a fabulous show that kept the audience entertained and interactive ! My husband and I weren't planning on dancing at our wedding but as soon as we heard Robbie we couldn't help but to dance!! He was perfect and helped make our dream fairytale wedding come true! He has a great selection of music, an excellent sound system,he plays at a level that my family still could talk to each other, and he kept a fun vibe in the air! We danced a lot and now we have a song that has memories to it. Most couples have a favorite song . We didn't until Robbie gave us a memory to tie to our song and now it will be a fav for years to come!! Robbie was phenomenal. Robbie filled every moment with just the right amount of ambiance. Our small group chatted while warm whispers of music swirled about our living room. There were also spontaneous sing alongs when guests heard a favorite tune. He positively nailed it and he's an impressively kind person to boot.

When the rain started, we quickly had to shift our outdoor set-up inside and out on the patio. Robbie was very flexible to set up his equipment in a new location and adapt to our needs. Great songs, great voice, and well-prepared & organized. We WILL be calling Robbie again in the future!

I just don't know where to start... I guess the beginning is a great place.
We reached out to Robbie about a month before our 4th of July party and he was quick to respond. After talking on the phone - we knew that Robbie was our perfect choice for our event. He was available any time we had questions leading up to the event. This made us very comfortable with our decision as you never know if some one will show or be a no show.
On the day of our event, Robbie showed on time, with his equipment cart. So organized!
We actually got a twofer as Robbie's beautiful wife joined him for a few sets. They were just perfect! <3 Robbie took requests and we all had a good laugh when one request was for YMCA.
He was also kind enough to play background and let one of my girlfriends get up and sign Black Velvet.
We found a new friend in Robbie, and we will definitely be booking him for our next outdoor event. We hired Robbie to play background music for a family party and he was wonderful! The guitar and singing was fantastic, and he really knew how to work the crowd. Robbie was also so accommodating. He learned new songs from our request list and even let our father (the birthday boy) accompany him singing on two songs. He was a highlight of the party! Highest recommendation!!

I planned a surprise party for my mom at Starling of Nocatee Assisted Living community with Robbie as the musician/entertainment and we were not disappointed!! Robbie is a true pro and the group of about 50 seniors absolutely loved him!! Not one negative comment from the group! Some even felt Robbie was the best entertainment they ever had at their community. Robbie tailored the music to the crowd and engaged them by asking them to participate in singing various popular songs, etc. His is outstanding and a very personable guy too!

Robbie provided background music during the cocktail hour of our dinner party. His selection of music and his understanding of the need to be “background” was exceptional. After dinner, he got everybody dancing to selections that our crowd grew up on. Without exception, everyone said he was great. I would hire him again in a heart beat. In addition to his guitar skills and singing voice, he’s a nice man.

We had Robbie play at our fraternity’s formal dinner, and he sounded incredible. Regardless of the fact he was playing for six hours, Robbie came prepared with a set list that was very enjoyable, while each song had a unique acoustic touch that made the overall environment much more enjoyable. Robbie entertained at my dad’s 90th birthday party. He did such a great job and created a personalized song list to go along with our beach theme! He even wore a tropical shirt to fit in with the rest of us! He was so personable and had such a great variety of songs! His voice is amazing! Robbie made my Dad's big 80 surprise party so extra special! He put the party over the top. He was the perfect person for my family and dad's friends. We requested music from Frank Sinatra to Perry Como to Elvis! We asked for Grandma Got Runover by a reindeer and without skipping a bit...he was singing it! Everybody is still talking about it and we all had such a great time. Even the teenagers loved it! And that's not an easy task LOL

Mr. Robbie entertained us with his story and music, playing nostalgic songs that our residents loved. Robbie played for a child's party. We had about 20 kids ages 2-10, and Robbie pleased them all! The moms had fun too. He was punctual, considerate, and very respectful. He went above and beyond, even teavhing the kids silly dances! Highly recommend.

What to Expect
When I perform at your event, you can expect a wide variety of tunes from almost every musical genre and decade. Because of my love for all music I have a very broad musical pallet and can comfortably cover most musical genres whether it be rock, country, folk, r&b, pop or standards.
In an evening you will hear everything from Frank Sinatra to Otis Redding and The Temptations, to Glenn Campbell, Jimmy Buffet and Blake Shelton to The Beatles and Elvis Presley to James Taylor and The Eagles. I sing and play live accompanied by great sounding custom backing tracks that sound just like the original recordings. I intersperse the "one man band" with my own acoustic arrangements as well.
Here are some great advantages to hiring me for your event:
- It's cost effective. Live bands can get expensive, but you world really like that full sound and energy
of a band. With me you get the best of both worlds.
- It's got energy, but it's not loud. Your guests can easily converse over the music. We've all been in
that situation. Recently I went to a restaurant with a live band but wanted to talk to my friends, too.
The band was great, but I lost my voice trying to talk over them (and I had a gig the next day).
- I can literally fit myself and my equipment into a small corner of a room. I'm there, but not obtrusive.
I am at your event to provide ambiance and dance music if desired. I am not there to be the center of
attention.
- My Bose sound system will easily cover a room of up to 500 guests, but it sounds just as full at low
volume.
About
I am a singer/songwriter, acoustic guitarist and cover artist. I co-founded my first full time band in 1971. For 10 years we traveled and performed in every venue imaginable from parks to auditoriums to festivals and recorded 4 albums. I have continued in music professionally for the last 30 years. Whether performing music for dinner and dancing at corporate events, parties or restaurants, I guarantee the highest quality and professionalism in my performance, attitude and punctuality.
Additional Booking Notes
I am fully self contained when I perform at your event. All you have to do is tell me where to set up and point me to the nearest electrical outlet. I use
- a Bose sound system that can easily handle a room of up to 500, yet can produce the highest quality sound at a low volume.
- a Shure SM58 mic that is also available to anyone for announcements or remarks
- a Taylor and Guild acoustic guitar
If stage room is an issue, it's not for me. Myself and equipment fit comfortably into a small space.
