Rose Michael is a professional harpist located in Denver, Colorado. She has more than 10 years of experience performing at receptions, weddings, private functions, and more. Rose’s music just elevated the loveliness of our wedding! Rose Michael is recent a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Harp Performance studying under Yolanda Kondonassis.
She attended the World Harp Congress in Sydney Australia, where she performed with the American Youth Harp Ensemble. With the same ensemble, she has performed at other prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, Alice Tully Hall, Windsor Castle, England, the British Embassy, the Belgium Embassy, U.S. Department of State, and the White House.
An avid teacher, Rose is a secondary harp teacher at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. In 2014, she was the primary harp instructor at Charles City County Middle School. She is also a frequent guest faculty member at the Richmond Summer Harp Institutes, the Maryland Harp Institutes, the International Harp Institutes. Recently, in 2018 she was a visiting guest faculty apprentice teacher at the Rocky Mountain Springs Harp program.
