Ryan Ash

Ryan does stand up comedy to make his crowd feel good and have fun- he likes to weave the audience into the act and draws off a crowds energy. Couple this with some explosively funny stories and his patented overlarge eyebrows and you have the makings of a pretty fun event. Ryan is courteous, professional, and is currently typing this in the third person and getting a little embarrassed that he's talking himself up so much. Either way, Ryan is an established and hilarious option for your consideration, and has over a decade of experience making crowds laugh.

Ryan Ash has been in Canadian Entertainment for 15+ years. He's toured through Canada performing stand up comedy, headlining clubs and events for crowds between 6 and 2000 people. He's been heard on Sirius XM Radio and CBC radio and has appeared in TV/Film for companies like NBC, FOX and Sony. Originally from Edmonton, Ryan now resides in Winnipeg and is a veteran of the Winnipeg Comedy Fest and a regular face at Rumors Comedy Club. In 2018, Ryan won Rumors Annual Roast Battle, appeared in Fox Searchlights "Breakthorugh" and in "Stand: The Musical", a movie musical about the Winnipeg General Strike premiering in 2019.

Ryan was born to perform and loves riffing with audience members and telling weird but fun jokes in equal measure. He adds a lot to an event with his infectious fun energy, and is an equally capable master of ceremonies if you happen to need someone to steer the ship. He can utilize squeaky clean material or a more pg-13 to R show at your leisure.
