From start to finish, we couldn't have been more impressed.

I would rather not leave a STAR rating because I'm aware that sometimes "Stuff Happens," but the rating is a required field. Unfortunately, the Waitstaff from Serve It Up did not show at the requested time which was 2pm. When I called Shayne, the coordinator at 3pm she was surprised that the waitstaff had not yet arrived. She told me she would send someone else. I was left scrambling to do all the things I hoped would be taken care of by the person I hired throughout the entire evening. Someone from Serve It Up arrived at 7pm but they were dressed in a Security uniform and the event was ending.
Please issue a full refund of $265 immediately.

We'll have to try again sometime.

This is my second time booking with Serve it Up. My first experience was good this time not so. Before the event I sent a message to the server regarding mask and disposable gloves use. She notified me she did not receive any of the messages I sent. Sandra was lovely and had a wonderful attitude. However, it was my expectation as it was in the past, to not have to tell her what to do, once I had provided her with what I wanted her to do. I have to guide her constantly about what needed to be done. Also, she limited herself on doing the dishes, at the end of the party, the floor was not cleaned nor was the kitched tidy up. Again, I love her good attitude but she needs to be more expeditious when doing her job.
In addition, I was quoted originally for $170 two days later the quote was changed to $250. The amount was extremely high for the service that I received.

The experience was great. Serve It Up staff arrived on time, asked all the right questions, were up to speed quickly, knew exactly how to manage a party, were gracious and low key and also cleaned up along the way. That allowed me to enjoy my own party. I have used Serve It Up before and look forward to doing so again. Count me a delighted client.

Renee was efficient take over seemingly so Easily that I could enjoy my guests. She is very polite and quietly did all the dishes put away food and provided good service. We would love to have her again.

Our server did a great job in a very tight space. He kept the trays filled and everything flowed nicely. He also stayed a little longer and helped wash up. Above and beyond. Would recommend!

Things did not go exactly as planned however the customer service and resolution was amazing!

Shayne and server Ashley were the best at handling the bar, serving food and other tasks to set up the party for my wife's 50th birthday! Shayne was very enthusiastic and helpful, taking over tasks beyond setting up the bar and the food. She was indispensable for getting the party going and her server Ashley was very nice and very helpful as well. Shayne's personality is wonderful, making guests feel welcome as well as reducing my stress as the host which gave me time to relax and enjoy the party! I highly recommend Shayne and Ashley to anyone hosting a party. I will hire them again for my next event!

Vernay and Ashley were intuitive and supportive at every stage. Although I was personally running late in preparing late-minute details, they jumped right in with minimal direction and filled in all my gaps. They were professional and had such a wonderful positive energy! They seamlessly took care of food, trash, and cleanup which allowed me to enjoy time with our guests. Invaluable :)

Serve It Up arrived early. After I gave a quick overview of the situation and the layout, they got to work immediately. They had excellent ideas about how to display/serve the dishes I had prepared; they knew the menu after one mention and were continuously looking for the next task in order that all would be ready when the guests arrived. Once the party started, they kept everything going smoothly without my input. They were low key and gracious -- in the background but getting the job done efficiently. I was able to enjoy my own party (a first!). Moreover, they did clean-up along the way, so when the part was over there was little mess left. I recommend Serve It Up enthusiastically and I will use them again.

I had 10 friends for lunch. I wanted plated service, and Shayne delivered. She did excellent work. Professional but approachable, she set my friends at ease. I got to enjoy the event, since she cleared dishes quickly, but also came back to refill glasses or coffee cups. She anticipated what needed to be done, even when I had not thought about it. Although I am usually the "general" in my kitchen, it was easy to give up control once Shayne arrived on the scene. After she left, there wasn't a dirty dish to be had--champagne flutes, wine and water glasses, china for a full meal, pots, pans--all clean. By the way, she also took a photo of all of us, and managed to make us look younger--that was a nice touch.

The two waitstaff people were very professional.
They were on-time, very courteous and polite. Dressed well and attentive.
I would definitely recommend them and hire them again.

Serve It Up provided service to our Office Thanksgiving Feast this year They were dressed professionally, they were punctual, they were fully engaged in everything we needed them to accomplished. Life is so much easier now! 5 Stars for sure!

We are really happy with Serve it Up's service at our baby shower. We had a tea party so Shayne was responsible for keeping the hot water available, pouring team, and helping clear plates. We rented a tea set and she was instrumental in helping us soak and repack all items to be returned. Shayne does not require directions and will jump in where she is needed. Very happy; would book again.

Great job as always for our event

I booked Serve It Up for an office party on Tuesday. Decided to throw a party at my new house on Wednesday. Told Serve It Up the party would be on Thursday! I didn't have any furniture at all!! I took a chance and asked Shayne if she could help me? She totally KILLED IT! She made arrangements for two levels to be furnished (Dining Room Set, Sofas, Love seats, coffee tables, end tables and lamps!!) In addition to that, she also found an inexpensive way to provide banquet chairs and tables. ALL IN 24 Hours!! Signed, sealed and delivered!!! The party was EPIC!! Shayne and Serve It Up can do almost anything!! 5 Platinum Stars

Serve it Up provided phenomenal service for my birthday party. As a party planner myself, it's hard for me to give the responsibility to someone else to ensure the job will get done right. I must say, Serve it Up was the best and they can work with me anytime at an event. The server immediately came through the door and began working. She finished my food set up and cleaned the kitchen as the party went on. She also ensured that all my guests were comfortable. The bartender also jumped right in and finished setting up the bar. The drinks were amazing and all my guests enjoyed her service. I will definitely use Serve it Up again!

We had requested a bartender. She showed up a few minutes early and was extremely friendly and pleasant to all our guests. Shayne went above and beyond, we only expected her to serve drinks, but she made many trips around the area, helped clean up some of the buffet and even put dishes in the diswasher for us. It made our event even better and I would definitely use and recommend them in the future.

The crew was on time and picked up items as requested of them. They were surprised that wine service was part of the plan; it had been from the beginning and they brought wine glasses as requested so not sure why the presence of wine would be a surprise. We felt there was some poor attitude about this issue.
I suggest they put out one of each drink option on the table so that guests know what's available.
During the event they were attentive and pleasant and did a great job with clean up.

Serve It Up staff jumped right in and helped do whatever necessary for my wedding of 150 guests. I would highly recommend them-- Shayne and her crew were engaged and willing to do whatever they needed to do. They also anticipated needs and didn't require any hand holding through the process.

Serve It Up shattered all of my expectations for my wife’s surprise 40th birthday party. Aside from helping with food service, they helped me set up the decorations for the party, too! I was in a jam, it was a few days before the party and I couldn’t find someone that would only set up the decorations for the party so I called Shane (I had already hired her for waitstaff services at this point) and she was willing to step in and help.

On the day of the party, I was not on-site to help coordinate set up, I was with my wife in DC and would bring her back later for the surprise. Shane arrived with her team a bit earlier to help set up the decorations around the tent. While Shane was setting up the decorations, she realized that I did not buy enough decorations so she drove to Party City to pick up more decorations! I was floored, she could have easily just decorated with what I bought, instead went above and beyond the expectations and picked up more items to ensure the party was a success. When we arrived, I couldn’t believe what an amazing job Serve It Up did with the decorations.

Throughout the rest of the evening, Shane and team were very proactive, I don’t recall ever having to tell them what to do, it was very fluid! In one particular moment, towards the end of the party, I was planning to serve coffee to our guests but Shane highly encouraged me to forgo the coffee since she believed very few people would be interested. She was 100% on point, nobody requested coffee with the cake! Shane knows exactly what she is doing, she is very good at her job. I’m looking forward to working with Shane and her team again!

On-time friendly, courteous, reliable, neat appearance, clean uniform. I will most definitely recommend them and use their services again. This was a basic set-up, serve & breakdown buffet for a small wedding. Our challenge was doing it all (Wedding & reception) in one small space and the team came through without a hitch. We had a fairly simple garden party wedding at my parent’s home. One wait staff to keep the buffet full and bus tables. One bartender. First, they arrived 45 mins late. The bartender was not at all comfortable behind the bar. Didn’t have a handle on making simple drinks, we are talking; gin and tonic, vodka soda, rum and ginger beer, (ONE liquor and ONE mixer!) To their credit, the ladies were very friendly and helpful where they could be. But the combination of arriving 45 mins late and also not being trained as a bartender created a situation where the the bar service was not smooth. And with multiple kinds of the same liquor open at one time, we were not able to return a lot the unused liquor. Just general disorganization.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. This is our second party where we’ve used Serve It Up, and just like last time they were wonderful and made our party that much better! Shayne and her staff immediately jumped in and began helping set up and putting food out. They attended to our guests needs, which really allowed for my husband and I to enjoy ourselves and our friends. By the end of the party, when I walked back inside, they had already put away the food and cleaned up my kitchen! We will absolutely using Serve It Up again. Thank you Shayne!

Handled everything!!

We hosted a 4th of July party in our new home, and it was a tremendous success thanks to the team from Serve it Up! Shayne welcomed everyone upon arrival, and she was delightful. Jasmine and Claudia stepped in and took over the food / kitchen so that I could relax and enjoy the time with my guests. They did a tremendous job of keeping up with everything throughout the busy event. They worked very hard and were extremely professional at all times. I really appreciated how nicely they returned the kitchen and entertaining areas at the end of the evening. Bottom line, my party wouldn't have been a success without the help of Serve it Up. I can't wait to have them back for my next event!!!

Jasmine was a great bartender. She did an excellent job making our specialty drink, and when she ran out of ingredients for that she created an even better drink with what ingredients she had. She was very sweet and did an excellent job. Having her there made our event perfect!

Professional and courteous, they were wonderful!

Jasmine was a terrific help for a large dinner party. She ensured that the sink was never full, washing dishes etc as they cane in from the dining room. She also helped me serve some courses. She was friendly, and proactive, asking for containers to store all leftovers. Everyone commented that it was a pleasure to have her help

Shayne did a great job. The second she showed up she jumped right to work. She made sure our drinks were not empty, served our entrees/dessert and cleaned up. Hard worker!

Waitstaff provided, was average at best, she did not take initiative to wash dishes, take out trash. She did serve and clear dishes from table. She was a little slow, so I had to assist in serving and my son washed the dishes.

Shayne and Miss T. were absolutely wonderful and really helped me pull off an awesome holiday party for 30+ guests. Serve it Up was great to work with start to finish. Many of my guests were equally impressed by their professionalism and friendliness. The bar service by Miss T was on point and Shayne took over the kitchen so that I could mingle and enjoy my family and friends. By the end of the evening they seemed like family too but with special party skills, lol. I do 3 or 4 parties throughout the year and I can say that The Serve it Up team will always be a part of my future party planning.

Our bartender arrived on time and confidently got things in order and then helped us finish up the platters, candy bowls, etc. She took coats out of my arms in order to hang them for me & washed things along the way. Everyone had a drink all night and I will definitely use them again.

Yves arrived on time and worked throughout our four hours party, so that we could enjoy our company. He served, prepared, cleaned up, and even took pictures. This is our first time using Serve It Up. Will definitely use them again in the future.

We had serve it up for a 8 person formal dinner. Everything was absolutely great from drink service, to French service at the table, to clean up afterwards. Thank you, Shayne you are wonderful. I recommend this company to everyone who needs party service.

These ladies were prompt, professional and did an excellent job despite a less than ideal "kitchen situation" which I think is the mark of a true pro: coming into a situation that is not very organized, assessing what needs to be done and delivering a high level of service regardless. I also really appreciated that Serve It Up was able to accommodate my cousin's wedding on such short notice -- they really came through for us!

This was the first time that I have ever hired waitstaff for a party. Ashley and Blake were lovely to work with and very helpful. However, I had been expecting Shayne to be there. I texted her the day before to confirm and got no response. It was only when I called 2 hours before the actual event that she picked up and told me she would not be there, but was sending 2 associates. I was disappointed because she has assured me when I first booked the party that she had a lot of experience and I was looking forward to her expertise.

Shayne and her Serve It Up staff were a lifesaver for our wedding reception (for 90 people). Shayne was professional, kind, and communicative in the weeks leading up to the event and Shayne's two staff were extremely sweet, accommodating, and entrepreneurial in solving problems that arose before we even knew we had them! We would highly recommend Serve It Up for your next event. They are fabulous!!

Angelica was professional and hard working. I didn't have to tell her much, just showed her where things were and she took it from there. Having a large family, I use wait staff for major holidays. This past Saturday, our daughter graduated from college and we were expecting 105 guests. While around 90 actually showed up, the two (2) person staff from Serv It Up worked as if there were 6 of them. Due to the threat of showers, we had to move food service indoors. I also changed the buffet such that I wanted them to serve each plate from the buffet to ensure at least everyone made it through once. They adapted and anticipated every nuance and move. They served guests that were physically challenged, kept everything heated, replenishing and as efficient as I've ever experienced. One amusing anecdote was when I emailed Shane, the owner the evening before to explain my change in wanting them to serve the first past-through, I gave an overview of al the dishes I had and a concept of where they would be. I mentioned in passing that I was still figuring out when I was going to pick up dinner rolls as I'd forgotten about those. While at the graduation she sent me a text to tell me who would be serving and that they were picking up "rolls". I replied "rolls of what". And she said don't you need dinner rolls? I barely remember even mentioning it, no less asking her to get them which was totally not her role. But she and they went above and beyond to help make this day a total success.

I am in the details and the staff anticipated my every thought and desire. No matter whether I have assistance or not, I'm usually drained at the end of every event as I'm working throughout. I did not have to lift a finger and thoroughly enjoyed my guests and the magnitude of the moment. I not only would HIGHLY recommend Serv It Up, but I can't see myself using any other wait staff. I will call on them again and again. The young ladies were so pleasant, professional and calm throughout under quite demanding circumstances. They were a joy to work with as was Shane, the owner. I am very appreciative to the entire Serv It Up staff for making this day so memorable.

Arisha arrived 30 minutes early for a buffet dinner party at my house. I showed her around, told her the dinner plan and didn't have to give much direction after that. She kept all food items filled, cooked some appetizers for me, served the appetizers, cleared away dinner plates and drinks. She washed dishes throughout the party. She even stayed 30 minutes past the booking time to help clean up. I had several comments from my guests about what a great job she was doing. In hindsight I probably didn't give her enough tip for the extra hour that she spent at my house. I will definitely be using Serve it Up for my next party!

We had a house concert / cocktail party at our home, with about 40 guests. They were just amazing! Arrived on time and immediately took over the final preparations including setting up the bar and putting out all the food. They even cooked the hors d'oeuvres. Shayne was a complete rock star on our wedding day. I barely had to tell her what to do or where things were. Cocktail hour was ready to go when our guests arrived and she stayed invisible cleaning and keeping our food rotating. I could not suggest hiring her enough.
