Seth Johnston Solo Artist

Ever since he was a kid, Seth has been involved in multiple musical and performing outlets. In elementary school, he sang in choir and was the lead in the musical. Throughout middle school and high school, Seth participated in over 10 musicals as leads, sang in choir for 7 years, and performed as part of a vocal jazz ensemble. Post high school, he went on to major in Vocal Music Education and graduated with his B.S. from Texas A&M University - Commerce. While there, he maintained a 4.0 GPA, performed in multiple elite ensembles, and minored in piano.

Once Seth completed his formal education, his performing career continued. In 2016, Seth had the opportunity to play Joseph in MSM ( McKinney Summer Musical's) production of Joseph and the AMAZING Technicolored Dreamcoat. He also was hired as a worship leader/pastor in (phone number hidden)8 at his home church, where he lead worship every Sunday. During his time there, Seth helped prepare and lead 5 large scale Christmas music events, that included full orchestra, choir, and band. In addition, Seth lead worship for multiple different bible studies, singing and then teaching from the bible. He also taught voice and guitar lessons while managing a School of the Arts through the same church.

When it comes to traveling and performing, Seth is no rookie. He has performed solo and group pieces in over 4 countries outside the USA (Spain, Germany, France, and Brazil), and still frequents France and Spain as a musician. His broad experience globally has increased Seth's cultural understanding and given him a different, stronger appreciation for the power of music, as he has seen it transcend language and cultural barriers alike.

Currently, Seth is in school in hopes to become a Physicians Assistant. Since music classes do not count as prerequisites for the medical field, he is currently enrolled at Collin College, completing any and all prerequisites needed for the PA programs. Seth works as a substitute in multiple school districts while playing gigs (filling in for worship leaders and playing parties) to supplement income. He still teaches privately, and loves to pass on his knowledge of music. In his free time, Seth enjoys spending time with friends, meeting new people, playing any kind of sport (but mostly Ultimate), leading bible studies, and volunteering at church.

*40-80 miles from Allen: $125
*80+ miles from Allen Tx: $150+ (TBD on mileage)

Rate per hour: $100
