Shadia is an Egyptian-Peruvian bellydancer with 15 years of experience. She has performed at prestigious events such as Vanessa Williams’s wedding and the 2015 Pan Am Games, as well as many weddings, zaffehs, birthdays, corporate events and theatre productions. Shadia is a charismatic and dynamic dancer, known for her stage presence, outstanding technique and soulful expression.
Shadia is also proficient in various styles of Middle Eastern folklore.

Shadia is an Egyptian-Peruvian bellydancer with 15 years of experience. She was a Lead dancer in Yasmina Ramzy’s professional company, Arabesque Dance Company & Orchestra, from (phone number hidden)7. During this time, she performed in five major company productions at Fleck Dance Theatre, as well as Dance Ontario Dance Weekend, and traveled to Yellowknife, Vancouver and Sudbury to perform with the company on their Canadian tour.
Shadia has had the opportunity to study with Robert Desrosiers, Jeff Dimitriou, Sashar Zarif, Bassam Bishar, Suleiman Warwar, Mohammed Salah, Ferda Bayazit and many more.
In more recent years, Shadia’s training and performances have included Caribbean dance styles such as soca and dancehall, studying with Kay-Ann Ward, Faby and Snapp Jan. She was also a member of BOSS Dance Company lead by Leah Totten, and trained in hip-hop and various dance styles.
