Henry from Sound Love was the perfect choice for our gala reception at the Harvard Club of Boston. He was extremely professional and always responsive. Most importantly, his impeccable talent for curating the perfect blend of cocktail jazz truly set the tone for the evening, seamlessly transitioning into energetic tunes that had everyone on the dance floor. In an instant, we would hire Henry Evens / Sound Love again!! Henry is an engaging, delightful young man with a very well-developed desire to effectively carry out the wishes of his clients; he takes being a DJ very seriously! Henry respected our instructions (we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with over 70 family and friends), interacting with us several times to ensure he was doing what we wanted. He adhered very well to the “playlist” of specific pieces and particular artists which we had sent to him beforehand. Sound Love has extensive equipment; Henry was quite efficient, taking very little time to set up. His wireless microphones certainly came in handy. Sound Love is reasonably priced. We are very pleased with the experience we had with Henry Evens / Sound Love!

Our event was on board a large boat. Henry said he would arrive approximately an hour before to set up before we set sail. He left a piece of equipment in his car and nearly missed the boat. He invited his girlfriend to attend without asking (we have a strict headcount from US Coast Guard regulations), then drank the alcohol we were serving our guests while 'groping' his girlfriend (that word came from one of our guests).

My dj was ontime and professional. We had song issues but looking back I guess I could have looked into it more before the event.

We hired Sound Love for a wedding/elopement reception to do both DJ and Karaoke. Henry, the DJ, came with his girlfriend to assist and despite my lack of instruction took charge and made our entertainment for the night something special. All I gave him was a few song requests and he turned them into a great playlist and made sure people felt comfortable during the dancing despite my reluctant and shy family. When it came time for the Karaoke despite the venue not letting him set up a screen for lyrics he improvised and used his own screens for us all. He and his girlfriend were very nice, it makes me glad that I picked him to DJ my event. He looked like he was having fun which in turn made everyone more willing to have fun themselves. I had nothing but complements from my family afterwards.
