I heard them at a music festival on Grand Lake. They played some great songs, some old 40's stuff, country even some Goo Goo Dolls. Was a lot of fun listening to them.

All equipment will be provided by Southern Plains Band unless the venue is providing the sound equipment and a tech. We will work through those details with you in that case. Our equipment is clean, professional, in excellent condition and well suited for small to medium sized venues. It consists of guitars, keyboard, percussion, amplifiers and monitors, PA system, microphones, all stands, cabling and grounded plug-ins.
As professionals we will be groomed and dressed appropriately for the venue.

Ric Favors (Guitar / Vocals) – Singer / songwriter from New Orleans, Ric began playing guitar while serving in the US Army. His musical interest cover Big Band, R&B, country, rock, gospel and original songs.
"For me what began as a hobby, quickly turned into a deep passion. When I play, my emotions and guitar combine to form a single entity. What emerges as music, whether written by me or someone else, has life and feeling."

Linda Panners (Percussion / Vocals) – Singer/songwriter and Oklahoma native from Guthrie, Linda began singing at an early age in her church choir. Her mellow voicing style will capture the audience, as she delivers a unique touch to the wide variety songs she presents.
"I grew up around gospel music but love music of all kinds. As a kid, I use to sing along with songs on the radio and pictured myself before an audience. I have been very blessed in my life. To me, by touching an audience with a song and seeing them smile, laugh or nod their head along with the music, I am giving back some of what has been given to me."

David Pelkey (Keyboard / Guitar / Vocals) - Singer / songwriter hailing from Canada, now a naturalized Oklahoman, David began studying classical piano at the age of four. Over the years he has added acoustic guitar and bass to his musical repertoire.
"Playing music has always been a big part of my life. Experimenting with new sounds and adding more sophistication to the melody is a driving force in my music."
