What to Expect
My name is Steve Merriam. - I specializing in real nice guitar playing. Rock, blues, country, and soul. I play soft listening music for a dinner crowd or lively popular music if people want to party and dance.
I have many years of performing experience so I can read a crowd well. I get the feel for if they would like softer listening music or livelier moving music. It may be country songs, rock songs or just some nice melodies as background music to visit and relax.
About
Steve is a seasoned guitar player whose musical performing career spans over over 50 years. Originally from the Seattle/Tacoma area, Steve studied at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, CA and has been in numerous bands in a variety of genres from the early 70's until now. Steve toured throughout the Northwest United States, Canada, Philippines, and Japan.
Influence include Eric Clapton. Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Robin Trower, and so many others over the past half century.
