Tam provided wonderful entertainment for a group of 3 to 6 year olds - not an easy job but Tam was wonderful. Our grandson said, he “loved his balloon twister surprise and had a great day.”

The didn't move much in her costume so I think it's hard to entertain 4 year old kids without moving much

We were lucky enough to have Tam join us at my son’s 6th birthday party. She did face painting. She was patient and kind with all of the very excited children. Her artwork was amazing! The kids thought so too and waited patiently in line for their turn. Thank you Tam!

Uma the unicorn lady eased into the party and all 8 girls were ooing and awing at her unicorn presence! She read two stories and played circle games with hoola hoops. The girls loved her. Most important is that they said my granddaughter gave a great party. This is in part to Tam!

She did an amazing job! I am definitely booking her again. Very creative, patient with kids, and is aware of children’s limited attention span and was able to adapt smoothly throughout the party. Throughout the whole process of booking, she stayed in constant contact with me and was able to bring my vision to reality for my daughter’s party—which was an outdoors paint party!

What to Expect
All character performances include immersive characters in quality costuming, and have a variety of options they can include, such as photo options and fun props and songs. All stilting, fire, and mermaid performers come with a safety handler.
Due to Covid, we maintain social distance at this time, and performers will wear thematic masks where appropriate.
About
The Good Ship Bathary is a family owned variety act troup of performers now on both coasts. Stilting, Fire spinning, and mermaid performance only scratches the surface of what they do, and they can accommodate any theme!
The West Coast crew
Specializes in fire performance, interactive characters, mermaid performance, and photo ops for all occasions, Tam and Torch are a dynamic duo of creative entertainment!
They choose to embody original or literary characters most of the time, though the occasional Spiderman or Elsa will make an appearance.
Regardless of fairy or pirate, mermaid or steampunk explorer, they are always entertaining!
Additional Booking Notes
All performances that require fire need an uncovered (or vaulted ceiling) performance space at LEAST 15 feet in diameter, and a sectioned off place to fuel our tools. It is up to the client to get permissions from a venue to use fire on site.
If the performances need electricity (lights, music, inflatable set props), it needs to be readily available for them. Performers may bring their own small speakers, but can often work with a DJ.
Due to Covid, we require guests to maintain social distance and wear masks where appropriate. Props will be sanitized by the performance team in between guest use.
If food is included in your tea party experience, clients MUST disclose food allergies or dietary needs no later than 3 days before event so that the menu can be altered.
