We hired a lovely accordionist, Arkady, for our Oktoberfest Entertainment at our nursing home facility. All of the residents and staff had a wonderful time singing and dancing along. Arkady walked around with his accordion and also played requested songs. He gave us a surprise when he started to play the piano as well!

Had Nina at the restaurant for Oktoberfest and she was great! Had the crowd entertained and she was simply a delight. We will have her back next year for sure.

We hired James to play his bagpipe at a funeral/memorial service at Ft. Sheridan National Cemetery, not really knowing what to expect. He was so good and flexible, and knew what tunes would be appropriate and when to play. He was great, and made the service even more beautiful.

We hired Mike the Accordion player for our fundraiser at our nursing home. Mike was professional and clearly very experienced playing for crowds. He was interactive and respectful. We hope to book him, and/or the rest of the Internationals, again soon!

Michael is a very talented violinist! I appreciated his willingness to add/change songs when the organists did not show up for rehearsal. He is a true professional on top of being a very talented musician. He was prepared with our song choices and came ready to play. He made the wedding more memorable with his 5 Star performance!

The most recent event was for a swanky baby shower which was 7/27/24 and she was such a hit! A very polished professional who is super reliable and talented. Delightful to work with. Kevin’s bagpipes echoed through the hall at our daughter’s wedding. Just as guests sat down to eat the musician entered dressed in a sharp green . Guests were delighted to listen to ancient tunes from across the sea.

Henry and his team of skilled musicians were a wonderful addition to our wedding day. We discovered The Internationals when they played my brother and sister in-laws wedding. Henry was great at communication and provided a flexible contract that accommodated all our needs. They were lovely to listen to and really added to the ambiance of the day.

We couldn’t have been happier with our bagpiper Kevin Chapman, who played for our memorial service.
The piping was perfect for the occasion, he engaged with all the guests, answered questions & was perfect in every way. If you have a mental picture what a bagpiper should look like, it would be Kevin. He’s the best!

The Internationals were fantastic! Because we are doing events socially distance, they traveled the community so everyone could hear them play. They will definitely be back for us next Oktoberfest!

This band literally saved my wedding. Everything was all messed up because the linens didn’t come in. When the band came on they had great costumes, everyone danced so much, they loved it. Zorbas was a huge hit and so was the Ukrainian wedding dance offs. Henry was amazing to work with. He always answered all my questions within hours. The band showed up early to let us use the mic. I can’t say how amazing the process was to book them. The music sounded so amazing and it was lively and fun for a wedding!

The Internationals performed at our church in Aurora on Christmas Eve 2021. To say they were good would be an understatement, they were Amazing! There was such a sweet spirit in the place that evening as their mix of festive Christmas Carols and Gospel songs filled the air. A good time indeed was had by all in attendance!

We have had the privilege of having this group play for our Christmas Day Church Service for the last 4 years. Each year the performance gets better. This year we moved our celebration to Christmas Eve. Our Pastor decided to add a Flute player. The young lady was amazing, she brought the performance to a new level. We had a few kids in the audience that play instruments at school and they were amazed. One young lady said "Now I know why my parents want me to practice more". I want to play like that some day. Very engaging, very professional, can't wait until next year.

I needed a musician for cocktail hour and dinner time at our wedding and Nurlan the cellist did great! The guests were entertained with his music and appetizers while the groom and I had to leave to take pictures with the photographer. Our wedding theme was Legend of Zelda and he was able to play some of the Nintendo tunes which was great. I would recommend him to others and hire him again. Thanks to Henry for organizing everything as well.

We hired The Internationals, or rather, Michael, as the violinist for our wedding ceremony. Booking them was such an easy process and Henry, our point of contact for the gig was so kind and helpful! I contacted The Internationals ahead of my 70th birthday party. I wanted some very specific music and performance. They are amazing, they make everything come true from the dreams. Henry is superb. He replies immediately, solves every difficulty and they "deliver" on time and in an excellent manner. Arkady is a most accomplished accordionist, he can play so many songs, from many different countries, beautifully. I will certainly see and best of all - hear - them again :-) Thank you so much Internationals for all you did to make my special birthday, perfect.

I am an only son amongst three sisters and suddenly my father and sisters all had leaned on myself to come together and make plans for my mother's funeral.
I was looking for two to three violinists on this gigsalad web page when Henry offered me all which I had been searching for or an option of a violinist and cellist.
Following my review of most of their videos, I chose the cellist and violinist.
In the afternoon following the catholic mass for my mother I had walked into our church hall to see Natalia and Irene who had perfectly set themselves up in plenty of time prior to their booked time.
They both greeted me and were ever so cordial offering their sympathy's in my loss.
I spoke to them and asked them to take breaks as I just know string instruments can be overly tiring on the hands but I believe they refused and they just kept the songs coming.
Here is the Most Important Feedback I Believe The Internationals Delivered On ;
Natalia and Irene played/delivered without a single flaw !
Also All of The Songs Were at the correct pitch to where everyone could mingle and socialize without any over-powering instrument playing.
In the future I hope to always stay in contact with these wonderful people and Never would I ever hesitate to book them again!

Right from the start, Henry was great to work with. He was very quick to respond and is very informative. He sent a few violinists for us to choose from, with videos of their work. Once chosen, he also sent us a repertoire for us to choose songs! We also spoke to our actual musician a few weeks before to square everything away. Michael, our violinist, was truly great. He brought his own back up music (if requested), played flawlessly and took cues perfectly from our coordinator. He truly was AMAZING! Overall, this was a GREAT experience! And they are a reasonable price as well compared to many others!

I booked a cellist for my wedding. One week before my wedding the cellist's cello broke. Henry immediately arranged for different musician and both worked closely with me to make sure I was able to get the music I wanted. They were great. Thank you Henry and Micheal.

I hosted a small Surprise Oktoberfest Birthday party for my moms birthday. I hired Mike as a surprise to my guests. We had the nicest conversation when he called to confirm the date. I could tell that he was extremely professional and also kind-hearted. He arrived 15 minutes early and set up in my living room while my guests were in the kitchen. Everyone trickled out when he started to play! It was so exciting. We danced, we laughed, we cheered. Mike played for a little over an hour, taking song requests and answering all of our curious questions. He’s a brilliant musician. I wish I could have him play at all of my parties!! 10/10 would recommend.

I was referred to Henry Sergenko to assist with providing a violinist for a memorial service for my uncle who passed away the end of January 2020. My aunt wanted three specific hymns to be played at the service. Henry scheduled a violinist to perform at the memorial service which was initially scheduled for March 23, 2020, coinciding with the COVID-19 pandemic shut down mandates were being enforced. Due to the pandemic outbreak the memorial service had to be re-scheduled more than once over the next 6 months until October 5, 2020. Henry and the violinist Igor Antipov was very flexible and accommodating with re-scheduling the date of the performance for the service.

The memorial service for my uncle took place on October 5, 2020. Igor played the three hymns beautifully that my aunt specifically requested as well as other pieces appropriate for this occasion.

My aunt who is 91 years old and uncle were married 68 years. The memorial service was held on the date of their wedding anniversary. He was 90 years old when he passed away. My aunt was very happy and pleased with Igor's performance at the memorial service. We look forward to a happier occasion to work with Henry and Igor again in the furture.

Michael was absolutely wonderful! We had a micro wedding with just three guests, but wanted some kind of music for our event. Micahel was very professional and responsive to us before our event. Henry was very responsive and easy to coordinate with. He even sent me a recording of Stan playing pomp and circumstance on the saxophone 🎷. As soon as I heard it i put the deposit down without hesitation. I had been looking for a while and was not satisfied with any other artist that I had talked to. He showed up a few minutes earlier than he had said and worked with us to surprise my wife with the back yard graduation ceremony I had prepared for her. Needless to say she was more than surprised and still hasn’t stopped talking about it. Before the ceremony/party she was so distraught that covid ruined her graduation. Now she’s saying “im glad it happened this way, that was soooo much better than any graduation I have ever been to!” Stan played all the hits and even put his own twist on some and made them even better! I will be booking with the internationals again and again(my wife loves the saxophone). Definitely would recommend to anyone considering an artist at their event!!

I am quite thankful I found this group! We hired one of their very talented piano players to play at our daughter’s wedding. She wanted some untraditional songs for the procession and recession and our piano player did a wonderful job. I will not hesitate to hire musicians from this group in the future. I hired the Internationals today and they exceeded all expectations I had. I hired a saxophone player to play mine and my husbands wedding song for our 13 year wedding anniversary. From the moment I booked, I received wonderful support. I was able to pick songs from a list that was sent to me, which included songs that my fiance and I both loved. I was also able to add other songs if I wanted, but honestly their list was perfect. Before the wedding day, I received a phone call check in, which I really appreciated. On the day of the wedding, Michael, the violinist, set-up really early and looked the part with a wonderful music note tie! He played beautifully. I received so many compliments from my guests about him. I have to say the best part was his wonderful attitude on that day, and from the beginning. They made everything a simple, easy, celebration!

I hired The Internationalists as a solo violin for my wedding ceremony in May 2019. Most of my communication was with Henry. He was personable over e-mail and quick to respond. After a health issue came up with our original violinist with The Internationalists, Henry was quick to assign us a new violinist, Michael K. I only spoke to Michael K. once over the phone as it proved difficult to get a hold of him. When we did speak he was pleasant and told us we had nothing to worry about for our big day. I had sent a set list as well as timing and detailed instructions. Michael K. and our officiant were to work together on queuing. Unfortunately, either the ques were missed or weren't given appropriately, as the songs were played at inappropriate times. My father had to run up to our musician mid-ceremony to let him know that he was playing the wrong song for the bride. He quickly changed the music and all continued as scheduled. Most of the songs were played well, a few notes missed, but it was a busy day for everyone. In hindsight, a meeting should have been arranged with our musician to discuss details of our ceremony. All in all, The Internationalist were very professional and we appreciate Henry's diligence in making sure we had coverage for our event.

We booked an accordion player for an Italian themed birthday party. Arkady, from the Internationals, was just perfect. Our goal was to create the feel of Italian family birthday parties like my wife experienced growing up. The quote and booking process was seamless. We had Arkady play mostly Polish accordion pieces after dinner for my wife's 70th birthday, and he literally had guests dancing in the aisles! A wonderful and personable performer!

Once he started playing, everyone was joining in and clapping and singing and dancing! My dad, the 90th birthday boy, was dancing and singing with Arkady! I would like to share the experience for the Face Painting Service that was done by Vera. She came about 10 min before time to set up her equipment and used a really good paint. The picture was almost perfect even the next day (my daughter refused to wash it before sleep and kept it next day)! All Face Paintings were great, very bright and well made. Vera worked very fast but highly professional. I would highly recommend Vera's service to all sorts of parties - kids or even adults as we had couple adults with cool "tattoos". 5 stars. Last minute, they came through for my daughters wedding!

I was doing an upscale Sweetest Day Party with the theme of a classy Wild West Saloon. Since in these joints the Saloon Girls were on a mission to keep the patrons longer in the main hall, they needed to be very entertaining for them, so they could spend more money or gold dust on booze, gambling, and 'soiled doves' upstairs. Henry Sergienko has found me a perfect Saloon Gal Inna Perschanskaya. She was perfect at 'flirting' with the male guests and doing an almost impossible balancing act where the husbands were kept interested while their wives considered it as an innocent playing act. She was not confused with a slightly provocative outfit which we discussed and purchased among the other variants. Inna was the center of the party conducting her act and and conversing with the guests on a various topics. Everyone was giving me the compliments for months on that hit-party, and mentioning the actress.

It really did not fit well into our program.

I hired Henry's team for a birthday party and everything went perfectly. Customer service on point, our singer arrived on time, was professional and had an incredible voice. Would highly recommend this service to anyone looking to hire. Thanks guys!

Had an accordionist and violinist play at my weddings cocktail hour. Just trusted them on song selection. Everyone loved it as background music and the kids were dancing like crazy. Also probably the easiest part to plan for the entire wedding. Slam dunk.

We had Arkady play the accordian at our backyard Oktoberfest party this past weekend and he was a hit! The ambiance he created was wonderful, he was personable and the guests loved him! He also took requests graciously and mingled so well I forgot he wasn't a guest of ours. The whole experience was great, easy and straightforward.

Had the trio at my wedding and it was beautiful. We gave them short notice but they were very helpful and accommodating. We had some Indian tunes as well. Highly recommend!

The Musical Christmas melodies played were a perfect touch to Our dinner party. Professional, talented, and the repertoire of music selections beyond my expectations. He even played my grandfathers violin that had not been played in years and was used in silent films. Thank you for making the event very memorable !

The two piece band (accordionist and violinist) were a nice addition to our line up of entertainment. They performed during the cocktail hour and during dinner. The whole process was easy. I signed a contract with a small deposit a few months before. They called to confirm two weeks before. They arrived an hour before their start time to set-up. When they played, they were good. They music was enjoyable. It was the perfect addition to the dancing music that followed dinner. I would hire them again.

Henry worked with me late into the night to book an accordion player and singer for my son's burial. Arkady and Kyle had only two days notice but performed the song, "Losing You" beautifully. It was a wonderful tribute to my son and was a nice moment during an extremely difficult time. We were also much later to cemetery than I thought we would be, but they were both very understanding. Thank you.

I can only give superlatives:
-- Arkady (of The Internationals) has a huge repertoire in the genre requested.
-- His performance was lively, and he sounded really good.
-- He interacted with the attendees well, and he was full of smiles.
-- He was on-time and he made simple setup requests with no demands.

In my experience booking programs/performers for libraries, this may have been the easiest. The Internationals delivered on every agreement and performed wonderfully. We booked them to play outdoors and despite winds and overcast skies, they performed happily and with no incident. I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Mr. Sergienko and his musicians!

Hired an accordion player. He knew how to play accordion which was great but he didn't really follow the instructions we detailed via email and phone call. He also bugged me so much about the payment I had to go get the check from the person that was instructed to pay him after his set. All the details were discussed so that was really frustrating.

I could not have been any happier with my selection of The Internationals. Professional to the core, Henry made it so simple to book a performer for our Bastille Day celebration.
People in town are still talking about the fabulous music. I highly recommend working with The Internationals!

Excellent performance! We asked for some fun songs from the 1940's. My 91 year old mother was so surprised and she really enjoyed it.

Thank you for recommending Michael (accordionist) for my Dad's 65th Birthday Party. He arrived early, warmed up, and played some excellent music. My dad was up and dancing and soon the rest of the party guests joined in even little kids formed a circle. For one person that is quite a feat. I had a violinist and a celloist play at my wedding and they were very professional. They had a big repotoire of songs and even played some that I requested.

Furthermore, there was no problem from the performers playing at out ceremony outside. They then traveled to the reception inside and did a great job and the throughout the 4 hours they pl ayed at our cocktail hour and dinner in which they sounded great and were very professional.

I would choose to have performers from the Internationals play for me anytime. The best thing was that we did not have to stress out about the music we told them what we wanted and they pulled it off flawlessly.
