I cannot say enough good things about our experience with The January Lanterns. Leading up to our wedding they were communicative and helpful, and happy to add any songs we wanted, even a somewhat last minute request. At our wedding they were amazing! They brought everything they needed to our non traditional venue, and played beautifully for both our ceremony and reception. Everyone absolutely loved it, the songs were fun and easy to recognize, but their sound is unique and beautiful and people talked about it all night. I cannot recommend working with them enough, the level of service we got for such a reasonable price was just astounding!

We hired the January Lanterns for a cocktail/dinner party. The music was so wonderful and perfect for an event like this. Andrew is so polite and so talented. He was able to tuck in a space when we needed to pivot inside because of rain. Everyone was able to enjoy him and still have conversations. Thank you!

About
The January Lanterns is an American Indie-Folk-Pop band that formally started in 2017 by husband and wife duo, Andrew and Kristen Camp. The two dynamic performers have been singing, writing and recording together since they met in 2006. The high school sweethearts create a palette of beautiful, yet raw truth in their lyrics and have bitter sweet harmonies that coalesce to create warm folk chord progressions infused with pop productions. Calling Missouri home, the duo’s music caters to anyone who’s lived a life of ups and downs. After releasing their debut LP, For The Kids, When They’re Older, in 2022 the couple released three new singles, “the kid that wrecked it all”, “holding on for dear life”, and “Time Is Softer” in 2023. They are currently working on their second LP.
Additional Booking Notes
We can provide our own sound system, but will need to make sure it can be set up in a clean/dry location. If there is rain in the forecast on the day of your event we can work with you to find a safe spot for our equipment or you can have us bring our tent for a $100 fee.
