In the 1960's, Florida was one of the leaders for having the most local Rock N Roll garage bands. And Tampa Bay had some of the Best! Everywhere you turned there was a local garage band playing at a teen dance or a concert. The Tempests were one of those bands from the 60's that were very popular in Florida. They were formed in 1963 in St. Petersburg, Florida when the original members were just 13 years old. The Tempests won a battle of the bands, got a recording contract and recorded.
Well today, with one original member, they are still Rockin better than ever! The music covered spans 5 decades. We play everything from Beatles to Black Eyed Peas. Our 3 part harmonies are second to none! When you hear the Tempests, you will be amazed at the concert quality sound coming off their stage. This is partially based on the $50,000.00 plus of pro audio stage gear and LED lighting provided. Also, there is No Hand Holding here either. The Tempests get the job done, so you don't have to worry about your entertainment portion of the event! We arrive early, ready to setup what is needed, so we start on time and are ready to give you the best experience.
