Overview
Hi! I'm Tyson Farmer, and I am a one-man fully independent musician and event entertainer from the North metro Atlanta area. I sing and play guitar with a wide spectrum of background music with bass, drums, keyboards, background vocals and more through a full but compact sound system that takes up an area as small as 5 feet by 4 feet. I perform almost any music style – rock, pop, oldies, dance hits, disco, 80s, southern rock, reggae, and many others. I am a full-production event entertainer, and I've been performing for a variety of weddings and events for over thirty years.

Tyson was incredibly thoughtful and considerate for our special day. He asked us for a list of artists we enjoy, and we gave him quite the range -- Dolly Parton and Elvis to the Beatles, David Bowie and Taylor Swift -- and he played it all in acoustic guitar, and with aplomb!
On the day of our wedding, he arrived over an hour before his set started to get the lay of the land and set up, and he seamlessly played for us for our ceremony and reception. We very easily identified the songs he was playing, and he kept the vibes up at our brunch wedding... So much so that even though we didn't do dancing, our 3 young nieces couldn't resist and twirled to his tunes on the dance floor! I would highly recommend hiring Tyson for your event!
Guitarist
Tyson did a fantastic job at our corporate event. As sometimes happens, we felt the need to switch gears in the program and Tyson worked it seamlessly. He even performed as impromptu MC when time to introduce one of our speakers came up, also he aroused interest in the upcoming raffle and door prize session. Thanks Tyson, great job!

Tyson was great. Read the crowd and gave us a good mix of music based on the mood of the room. Can't wait to have you back!
One Man Band
Tyson read the room and knew exactly how to play to the mood. When to go softer and when to try and get the crowd up and dancing. We'll definitely be asking him to come back!
One Man Band
Tyson did perfect- he is so talented! Definitely would use again and refer him to anyone needing a one man band.

This was our second time having Tyson out and once again, he didn't disappoint. He was able to play such a diverse catalog of music, he had everyone jamming and commenting positively on his set. He read the crowd well and kept them engaged and entertained. We will definitely be having him out again in the future. He was awesome!

Tyson was great! He commanded the audience well and had everyone up and dancing. He was very versatile, playing something for every ear there. He was an awesome addition to our party and really made our night. Great voice and great musician!
One Man Band
Tyson is the easiest person I have worked with. Very professional and super responsive. Showed up ahead of time and got all setup and gave us a thrilling performance. His variety of genres kept my 70 year old mom dancing. Best decision made. Strongly recommend for all types of events as he caters to your every need and requests.
One Man Band
Tyson performed for our holiday party at our apartment complex. His communication was impeccable, after the booking, he reached out and got my expectations, then again, 24 hrs before event for any changed and same day for event location and to let me know his anticipated arrival, that was more than appreciated as I was juggling multiple items for the event and that eased my worry and crossed him off my checklist early. At the event, He catered to a mixed crowd, taking selections and reading the room for what worked. We didn't want just Christmas music but rather a selection of genres mixed with holiday tunes and he delivered just that. The event was perfect! Everyone had a great time and we got tons of compliments on him. Will definitely be using him in the future.
One Man Band
Tyson was a great host and musician. He played and sang all the traditional music and played and sang the new and old music everyone loved. He is easy to work with, flexible and works hard to please. I would rehire him for our next event.

Tyson was professional, timely, friendly, affordable, and best of all, an AMAZING performer! We hired him for a community event sponsored by our HOA, and he really came through for us- the crowd of hundreds of people had a great time! He better be available for our next event!

About
I have been playing guitar and singing for over 38 years. I studied classical guitar at Kennesaw University, and jazz guitar at Georgia State University, and have studied under numerous independent vocal and guitar teachers over the years. I have played solo and worked with a variety of bands and artists throughout my music career, including live band rap and electronica groups, wedding bands, numerous classic rock, oldies, country, and 80s rock cover bands, and even Dolly Parton and Elvis impersonators. I have also played and sang in Atlanta's premiere wedding band, The Atlanta Band of Gold, since 2010. I always like to keep things musically up to date, fresh and fun, and I'm always looking forward to entertaining at my next great performance opportunity.
Additional Booking Notes
My technical needs are pretty simple - all I really need is a flat space of minimum 5 feet by 4 feet (ideally without too much walking traffic in the imediate area so people aren't tripping over my mic stand and stuff), and access to an electric plug or extension cable within 3 feet of that space. Everything else I provide myself, and am self sufficient and ready to rock after a quick setup - easy peasy!
